My experience here has been pleasant and comfortable. The father and son business is filling a crucial need in the arena of healthcare.The entire office is courteous and professional as well as knowledgeable and helpful. My insoles have certainly helped the pain and discomfort I was experiencing. My diagnosis was Plantar fasciitis, and I had custom orthopedic insoles made elsewhere previously, I can say these are better, and they take my specific needs into consideration in their construction and fitting processes.They are currently located just off the main road ( hwy 31) on Lorna,behind the Purple Onion , it is easy to find and very convenient to I65 and 459 . As I understand it this summer, they will be moving a short distance, just the other side of I-65 , off hwy 31. I will be following them for my insoles needs , wherever they move. I already drive 150 miles, YES it is worth it!

Dr Ford is the best! I had orthotics made at several other places, and they could not get them right. Dr. Ford got them right the first time! I felt like I was walking on springs! He goes the extra mile to make sure they fit well, and will do adjustments to get them just right. He has so much knowledge of the foot and how to fix problems. You will not be disappointed⭐⭐⭐

I would give more than 5 stars If I could. David and Steven Ford are knowledgeable, patient, kind and helpful. They have helped me get back on my feet and more importantly my life back!! They have took their time with each appointment. I have never felt rushed , and they always answer all my questions. They made orthotics that fit my condition and fit my my feet. They also helped me find shoes for my orthotics. They referred me to an orthopedic surgeon, to get a better understanding of my foot condition. I’m glad I followed their advice because my flat feet, and one foot in particular was much worse than I was previously lead to believe.

In the last 5 years I have seen 2 podiatrist, and have had 3 pairs of badly made, wrong fitting orthotics. I was so frustrated with my orthotics and doctor’s that I knew there had to be a better option and solution for me.

That’s when out of desperation I found Ford Foot performance. I travel an hour 45 minutes to see them, I would travel farther if I had to. If you are tired of your feet hurting, don’t know what to do about it, or feel like there’s no help for you. Don’t settle, don’t give up, go see David and Steven Ford. You will not regret it!!

My feet were hurting so bad that I walked with a noticeable limp. I was spending $185 on Nike air max thinking I was getting the support I needed. My wife works with one of the Ford’s spouses. She texted them one night when my feet were killing me. He graciously helped me set up an appointment. I went in and he watched me walk and wrote a list of suggested shoes that would better serve me and took a mold of my feet. I bought the shoes (way cheaper than air max) returned to their clinic and they put my custom orthotics in and made sure everything was adjusted properly. My feet no longer bother me and my back pain is way better as well. These are top notch professionals that know how to treat people. I hope this family business continues many more years of success. Well, needless to say, like many other folks I did not realize that so much of the discomfort I was feeling when I walked or even moved was the result of my feet , my shoes, my posture, and unfortunately my aging body! My orthopedic surgeon from UAB referred me to David and Steven Ford for custom orthotics. I had tried some of "off the shelf" varieties from the local drug stores with minimal success but had no idea the huge difference these would make. Admittedly there has been some adjustment period but everyone there has been so nice and gave me a heads up as to what was going to happen. I think setting expectations is a huge part of any medically related procedure and they set mine realistically and in a timely manner. I just wish I had known about all this sooner, I couldn't imagine anyone being more professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and gracious in taking care of foot/walking.issues!

Great team to work with. Fixed my plantar fasciitis with an affordable pair of insoles. One squeaked a bit in my dress shoes, which I did not bring to them when they fit my orthotics, so they made me an appointment, adjusted the orthodic, and tested them in all of my shoes. Incredible service. Incredible product. Skilled technicians. I'd recommend them to anyone!
