Don't go to this place they scam you and tell you misinformation. I called and made an appointment at the clinic. Keep this in mind that I have full coverage insurance. The lady on the phone tells me that everything will be $50. So when I get there the lady asks if I have insurance. Why ask if u already know your not going to cover. The only reason I went here is because I figured it would be quicker than setting up a Dr appointment. So once I'm finished seeing the doctor my bill goes from $50 to $217.93. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you don't have insurance. They'll tell you. They'll charge your insurance and reimburse you but tell you they don't except insurance at the same time just a bunch of confusion and misinformation.

I came to the Dept of Health to get my grandson’s birth certificate. The lady at the counter was so nice and understanding. Unfortunately she was not able to give me the birth certificate because I was a grandparent and not parent. I explained my situation and that my daughter was disable and could not come in. Juanita gave me her phone number and said just bring my daughter back and she would come to the car.
I rushed back home and brought my daughter back. Jaunita came out to the car and collected the documents and returned the the birth certificate. Wonderful and friendly lady

I had been trying to call them for weeks now to set an appointment for my birth control and every time they do answer the phone they immediately hang up

Very unprofessional behavior when it comes to
booking an appointment through the phone. The other
day I called 7 times just for them to answer the phone.
Today I'm calling to reschedule and was rudely
interrupted by the receptionist. Apparently her
conversation with a fellow employee was more
important then to listen to me speak to her about my
child appointment. Not even an "excuse me for one
minute"
"please hold" nothin; She ("jess or "jesa") just
straight up had a conversation with this employee as I
was speaking to her.

For 2 years I've struggled with finding appropriate healthcare through a difficult pregnancy then aftercare, and birth control. I've sought care from multiple providers in Volusia & Lake County but the FL Department of Health, Orange City has by far exceeded my expectations and restored my hope for women's healthcare. The facility was clean and everyone was friendly. Most importantly the nurse and physician were so incredibly kind and caring. In fact I received a call today from her to check and see how I was doing after getting a small procedure done. I can't describe the relief I have after struggling for so long.

Very rude if I didn’t moved from another state and waiting for insurance I would of never used them for my daughter to get her two month old shots.. they are suppose to help the public not be nasty with them if you don’t like you’re job than quit

Took my son for his first cavity today and he was very nervous. A student that was working spent extra time with him to make sure he was comfortable. She went through everything in the room and explained it all to him, and even let him pick his sunglasses. He has to have another one done next week, and he isn’t nervous at all. Thank you Nichole!

I’ve been coming to this clinic for a few years now for free or low-cost birth control, STI testing and exams. Sometimes the wait is long but I never spend more than an hour in the building. The nurses and staff have always made me feel welcome and safe, and treated with dignity.
