Some days we are torn. I don’t like to put energy into negative things, I’m torn to do so but today I will.

A beautiful day outside was spent spending hours ( literally, 3 hrs) on the phone with Insurance Coordinators for my various specialists who require pre - authorizations, referrals, ….etc.
(They were all on file already but my insurance company hastily made changes based upon greed and caused chaos).

It started after a terrifying hour, on a call with my insurance provider- Florida Blue through Blue Cross and Blue Shield. (this 1st hour brings the total to 4 hours).

(Sounds to me like you could be the trigger for my anxiety with a panic attack).

Then, I finally got my entire health care team - office by office - updated so there would be no upcoming confusion with my follow ups, labs, and pre determined health plan created by my healthcare team ( they are a great team at Baptist Health).

Fl Blue picked a fight with the best health care network in our area about money - not service, not commitment to the community, not high health standards.

I’m torn because I’m thankful I have health insurance, thankful I have found great doctors to be in my care team network,
torn because my Insurance Company - Fl Blue of @Blue Cross and Blue Shield- does not have a real concern about our health. Our well being.

I can’t wait to change away from you in open enrollment after this debacle with Baptist Health.
Hours were wasted today on the phone educating my providers of “continuity of care clause” and how that makes all my referrals and pre authorizations valid (through March 29 2025).

Your “negotiations” have caused bureaucratic confusion and extra stress; extra precious time on phone calls to drs, specialists’ insurance coordinators- and most horrifically-
placed fear, panic and distrust in your insured.

- Oh’ the horror stories about FL Blue / My Blue in our communities right now are rampant with disgust, (esp older folks) who are trying to navigate this train wreck.

Next time, hire a better negotiating firm. You have tarnished your reputation after you decided to pick a stupid fight with Baptist Health.

Good luck with 260k people in Jacksonville all trying to figure it out and start their health plan journey at UNF health yA’ll.

Came in with a question, checked in and got answer immediately. Sat down with Ciara Hodges and answered a few questions and were done quickly. She answered all of questions and was very helpful, polite and respectful of our time.

David was genuinely the most amazing individual I have ever come across in my whole life. He took the time to patiently find the best plans for me, and ended up finding me the best price for my coverage that i didn’t even think was possible. He never rushed my decision at any point, and was extremely polite and professional with his work. I will definitely be recommending this place to my family and friends and making sure they visit David!!

I have never had better customer service than I have with Brenda at Florida Blue in Rivercity. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I could never express how grateful I am for her. Brenda Jackson has went ABOVE & BEYOND for our family. She takes care of everything for you, stays on top of everything, remembers your situation the moment you start talking to her, takes all of your stress away, and has so much knowledge. There’s so much you can mess up with all of the insurance applications and she takes all of that off of you. She has even been on two phone calls with me to take care if issues and has also contacted our pediatrician office regarding billing issues. I could go on and on. CHECK THEM OUT AND BE SURE TO USE BRENDA JACKSON.

Ooooo Man what a great environment and place, with very helpful and friendly people. I went in completely clueless and nervous about solving some health care insurance issues With my mother and was met by the dynamic duo of Brenda Jackson And Enrique Villanueva. They offered drinks, fun conversation, and so much knowledge and insight into health insurance with their company and the entire health marketplace. So if they read this my mother and I just want to thank Brenda and Enrique once again for the help.

THANKS ANGIE, because of your help and ESCALATING my complaint, I just received a call and I have TWO AUTHORIZED REFERRALS now good until 7/30/23. After having over 2 hours of WORTHLESS calls to Florida Blue customer service reps and being disconnected TWICE and HUNG-UP on by a SUPERVISOR after I TOLD HER I REALLY DIDN'T APPRECIATE HER PICKING A PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIN OUT FOR ME. If you've got an issue, you can count on this woman to help. THANKS AGAIN!!!

I have been with Florida Blue for a little over a year & they are a Great company to have insurance with. But this review is for the Service Consultant Donte Lemmon who helped me. I had a major billing issue & was put into the wrong plan when I enrolled in December over the phone with someone else & was about to be terminated & had been talking to reps & supervisors over the phone for 2 weeks & it still wasn't resolved, so that is when I made an appointment at the Service center & met Mr. Lemmon who instantly put me at ease & began to work on my issues while I waited. He was very Professional & Caring. When I left he assured me he was making my issues a Priority & would get back with me within 3 days. Well the next day when I logged into my account everything was fixed & perfect!! I cant say Thank you enough Mr. Lemmon. You are the Best!! You truly care & you helped me through a very stressful time! I'm not sure who your manager is but I hope he/she reads this & acknowledges you & that they have the best service consultant! Have a Great Day!!
