I am so happy that Mount Dora has FAC! In this area quality centers are scarce and this center is simply a god send! Thank you for being here!!! Every interaction is a professional and personable! My child is in the best hands. He is 3years and non verbal but the smile on his face every time we enter to the time I pick him up is all I could ever want! Everyone has been amazing and informative. You can feel the genuine love and support! Rachel has been my lifeline keeping me informed of openings and continuously working to find any availability to work my son into the schedule. I appreciate all of her hard work trying to keep a consistent schedule. Thank you all!!! I am confident my son is in the best hands.

Our Daughter had been coming here for almost a year and the progress she has made with the Florida Autism Center has been nothing short of miraculous! We have done in home ABA therapy before with marginal success, but the home is not a great learning environment as there are too many distractions. This facility has so much to offer for every level of learning.
Natasha, the one site manager and one of the therapist is extremely informative and very well organized. Autistic children are not all the same, and Natasha and her team do a great job of identifying the areas of opportunity for each child, developing a plan, and tracking the progress of those goals. They have done such a great job with our daughter that we are going to try to mainstream her in school this upcoming year, something we worried may not be possible prior to coming to FAC.
Our daughters favorite therapist is Brie, and they have formed quite a bond, which shows how great each therapist is with the kids. She has also made many friends there and gets so excited every week when she sees them.
I would strongly recommend coming to this facility for your children.
The negative reviews on here are clearly from bitter people who are too afraid to leave a comment or have their email accounts set up with a spam filter and don’t know what they are doing. Ignore those people.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

My daughter started here a few months ago, right after a big staff change. We couldn’t be happier! My daughter loves going to “school”. I love the progress I see in her. And we both love all the staff! It was definitely worth the wait to get i to this facility!

My day has been filled mostly with tears this morning. As Eugene and I move on to the next phase in Preston's life I am scared. Preston started Florida Autism Center back in 2017. Sadly, promises made were not promises kept. My son is about to start Kindergarten and is still mostly nonverbal. He can't tell us if someone hurts him or what he likes or wants. As parents who have poured out lots of time , money and tears into his care we haven't been met with the same level of enthusiasm at Florida Autism Center. We are lied to, no resources to help us as parents have been provided and we've begged. If anything we have experienced at the Mt. Dora location the run around and a revolving door of staff that leaves a child who needs stability on the edge of his seat daily. I'm so hurt and scared for Preston because I fear he will be picked on, or overlooked in this world. I need help, I don't even know where to start in enrolling him in school or even finding him better ABA services. Right now Preston still relies on us to dress him, remind him to potty basically, all his needs require assistance. I want my son to flourish and I thought FAC did to. The Mt.Dora location is nothing more than an overpriced daycare and we feel taken advantage of. Someone familiar with proper ABA services, please HELP!!!!!

Hey there everyone! My name is Amanda and I have a son, Brayden, who attends FAC at the Mount Dora location. My was diagnosed at 16 months old with autism. He started FAC on August 30th of this year. My son will be 2 on Oct 5th abd let me be the FIRST to say just how much we LOVE everyone at FAC! All I've ever wanted was what was best for my son, and with the help of Brie, Amanda, Natasha, and Sarah they make those dreams come true everyday! The love and bond they have for my little man in such a short time is amazing! As soon as we walk through the door brayden is ready to go and for me that says something because he doesn't do good with unfamiliar places/people. But the joy he has when going to school is remarkable! Brie is mainly the one who works with bray and I have seen first hand a bond that brayden has created with her, SHE IS AMAZING!!! So I just want to say thank you to all the staff at the Mount Dora location for all your hard work, love, and dedication you all put in with all your clients! I don't know what I would do without you all! So thank you!!
Love,
Amanda, Jeremy, and Brayden

Terrible management. Not professional in the least. Lady at the front desk, Sara has a complex. If you have a child who needs services, find a better company. They'd rather hire an RBT with less experience and pay them less than to have experience on their team. Be careful.

My son has been going here since 2021. He likes going here everyday. He has changed so much since receiving services here. The BCBA and RBTs truly care for my son.

Went to a meeting in May and was told I’d have a evaluation in July.... never answered my emails, then emailed me in November asking if I’m still interested and then never replied back to me onced I stated I was still interested. I’ve never seen such a mess of a company. Their Lake Mary one isn’t any better.
