We had a wonderful experience here. My daughter was feeling awful and, of course, it was late on a Sunday. We were so grateful to find this clinic open until 6 o’clock. Everything was so efficient and we had x-rays, a diagnosis, and medication prescribed in less than an hour. I am so grateful to know this place exists in case we find ourselves in a situation like this again. Everyone was professional and friendly, even though we came in at nearly closing time.

Today, I received excellent care and service at First Care on McFarland Blvd in Tuscaloosa, AL. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, and I was called back within 30 minutes or less. All necessary tests and x-rays were ordered and I was treated with steroid and antibiotic injections, as well as a B12 injection, and was out of there as quickly as possible but I never felt rushed, at all. They are convenient to where I live and they were very attentive. I highly recommend them.

The ladies at this office made my experience great, even with the system malfunction they kept smiles and patience while continuing to communicate. I thank them for their great customer service.

Kind safe, wonderful doc, they even sent a nurse after the male doc just to make sure I was feeling ok. That’s what made me feel safe. The nurses blew my mind. This a safe place to go

As someone who hates going to the doctor especially when sick this was a very pleasant experience.Every single person that helped me from the front desk to nurses and doctors were so kind. I seem to always struggle with clinics in the area having insane wait times or shoving me out the door without actual treatment, but my experience at first care was far from that. I was in and out including xrays, shots, a nebulizer and all the regular visit work in only one hour. The doctors and nurses seemed to genuinely care that I was getting the right help and double checked or tested anything that seemed off before sending me home. They did all the testing they needed to find an answer quickly and I got treatment on the spot as well as prescriptions to pick up, which provided me relief until my medications were ready. This was overall the most comfortable and helpful doctors visit i have had in my 3 years living in the area and I will definitely be back for any future needs.

Soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile by a sweet young lady at the front desk. After I checked in I only waited about 10-12min in the lobby before I was called back to a room. The nurse I met in triage that took me to my room was kind and gentle as she took my swabs and cared for my needs. I was in and out within 35-40min tops and that means alot when you already don't feel good and are ready to be treated and get back home. Overall great experience.

Went to be seen for pain in my stomach. I asked if I had a possible ulcer. So they had me do a urine sample. After the doctor saw me they said it couldn't be a ulcer, because ulcers aren't in that part of the stomach. The doctor threw out the urine sample fee as I was leaving. 4 months later billing sends me a bill for 10.00. Called billing and they told me I still have to pay. I paid 125.00 out of pocket for my visit and Ruth from billing told me only need to pay 10 more dollars. Ruth said it's all my fault because I asked about a ulcer. Ruth said the doctor isn't allowed to throw out my fee. What a disfunctional operation.

Shawn (or Sean) was super helpful and amazing at the First Care in Tuscaloosa (1251 McFarland Blvd NE). Cut my finger, and he stitched it up. He took care with it, not rushing and making sure it was well taken care of.
