I had my baby here back in 2021, he was in the NICU for a few days. There was a time I was visiting my son in the NICU and saw a nurse holding down a different newborn by his arms and legs while the doctor was doing a circumcision on him. The baby cries sounded like he was in pain. The nurse noticed me sitting down and looked shocked that i was there. I felt like they were doing something wrong then and still do now. Also this hospital was filthy when we were there. I also got a horrible bruise on my back when the Asian Anesthesiologist was giving me my epidural (i was bleeding and supposedly it wasnt stopping so she punched me in the back repeatedly). It wore off within 4 hours. Do Not Recommend.

My stay here was good, The staff were very friendly to me and with my baby. 10/10 I would recommend again, shout out to all of the nurses and doctors that helped and cared for my baby and I, I don't remember all of the nurses and doctors name but I couldn't have done without you. They even paid for my Lyft ride to get home which I didn't even ask for I'm very grateful for this hospital and the staff members😊🙏🏾ps Swink....

This January

At first I had my doubts about this place. I know it's not the best looking place and the waiting times are long but in the end I was given the best care by the nurses and doctors here. I understand there is a shortage of staff and due to them being overwhelmed they still had a good and positive attitude and did the best they could. My baby and I were treated well and observed during our stay the only thing I did not like were the covid rules, which my husband was not allowed to leave the room at all or he couldn't go back in the room at all and no visits were allowed even though during the tour they had said we were allowed 1 visitor. One thing I reccomend is bringing snacks, drinks and food to eat for your hospital stay. I wish I could remember all of the nurses names that helped me when delivering my baby. I highly recommend signing up for their first 5LA program and shields program, they have been so much support and gave us so many items for our baby's arrival including a car seat. ❤ Thank you all !

My experience at St. Francis labor and delivery was a 4/10. I was scheduled c/section ( selective ) I arrived 5:15 am waited in the lobby for 10 minutes I got called in by an older Rn. Night shift was coming to end, when I got a new Rn around 7ish. My rn was Britney no good morning and she had a student not once did she ask if it was okay for him to be here. I brushed it off as I work in the medical field and I know they have to do their hours. Now around 8:00 I was ready for my surgery. I was so relieved when I saw Nurse Blanca she made me feel really comfortable. Anesthesiologist was also kind hearted. The only ones who congratulated me!! Once I got moved to recovery ❤️‍🩹 nurse Britney never once asked me if I was feeling okay. She was instead calling HR about her hours. I don’t understand if they don’t like to work with mommies why they don’t move to a different department. My nurses at postpartum was Karla, Ginax and Yin made my stayed smooth. Now by day 3 I had nurse Rocio by the way she was really rude to me and my husband!! She belittle us. Talked to us Spanish as if we didn’t know how to speak English!! My daughter had a blanket underneath her due to cold temperatures at the room!! She right away say the following. “ Your baby can die from SIDS” made me feel uncomfortable!! Keep in my mind this was my third day and all the other nurses never once told me nothing!! She made me cry, I didn’t asked for a new nurse since I was being discharged that night!! I kindly asked for more formula and denied to provide me more!!! She said I was over feeding my baby. My husband left me alone to go and buy milk for our baby. Now when I was discharged she never asked me if wanted to be wheeled out or walk to the car!! I’ve never felt so discriminated by another Hispanic!! Now I know why their birth rate is so low!! This hospital has so many bad nurses!!! I really hope hospital director reads this review!!
