URGENT CARE website said, "Skip the wait, reserve your spot." I made the online appointment to "skip the wait" and when I arrived, the front desk clerk told me that my appointment was only an appointment to check in. Huh? I waited almost two hours to be seen. Every last person in the waiting room was seen before me. FALSE ADVERTISTING? There is a better system where the patient makes an appointment online and then Family Care Center should have the courtesy of telling you, via text, when you will actually be seen. Update your online appointment procedures please. When I was seen, the care was EXCELLENT!!!

I had an appointment today with Dr. Gina Nguyen and it was a poor experience from the beginning. I got there 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. Then, I was taken to the back and the nurse that checked me in and took my vitals interrupted me while I was sharing with her my situation and she interrupted me and said “Well, did you need something?”. Like if I came to the doctor just because. In my opinion she was just trying to rush and made me feel uncomfortable. After I was checked in, I waited in my room for about 30 minutes for the doctor to come in. Once she came in she didn’t really listen to what I had going on and her recommendation for severe abdominal pain was to get some muscle patches. She then decided to share her opinion on the medication I am on from my GI doctor and that took over our appointment. After listening to her talk for 10 minutes, I asked her if there is a possibility of a serious concern with my kidneys and the pain I am feeling. Her response was “I can order a lab if you want me to”… Overall, I just don’t feel as the patient that I should be having to ask my doctor these questions. She clearly showed no concern. On top of all that, she DID NOT DO a physical exam on my abdomen/stomach. I’m looking forward to getting my medical record in the mail from insurance to see if she “checked the box” that she completed a physical exam. In which, she is lying and completing fraud. It seems the owner responds to these comments and I hope they take it serious and start to care for their patients instead of dismissing them. I absolutely wasted my time today and was super disappointed being they had such good reviews. Do not come here if you’re looking for good care.

I came in Sunday for my 2 year old who was found to have a double ear infection. The nurse practitioners was so wonderful & knowledgeable, and relatable. She was also SO nice with my daughter and explained everything to her as she was doing it. She helped ease this mamas mind.Medicating her has been impossible, so our pediatrician recommended an antibiotic injection, rocephin, to be given once a day for 3 days and was advised any urgent care can administer the first injection. I scheduled a morning appointment today, Wednesday, to have it given for her and came back to this same place since it was such a positive experience the first time. Unfortunately when the client service rep who was very sweet went to ask if antibiotic injections were given for ear aches there, whoever she asked let out an audible laugh while they said no. The CSR was nice enough to give me a phone number for an after hours urgent care after being told they don't give those shots to infants (my daughter is 2, no longer an infant). The unprofessionalism of the other staff member who laughed so audibly at something i was advised about by my pediatrician was hurtful and shaming. It's already hard to be a mom, then to be laughed at and essentially mocked was upsetting and rude. I don't usually write reviews less than 5 stars, but this was so unprofessional and made me feel like a moron for even asking. The 3 stars is because everyone else was nice, otherwise it would have been lower. Be kind, don't laugh at others requests even if you think it's absurd or ridiculous. It's already hard being a mom & being a mom of a sick kid is even harder.

This place is TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! They gave me a wrist brace and told me I OWED NOTHING because everything was covered by insurance. However, they charged me $75 6 months later!!!! I only got one letter and the next notification was from a debt collector! THIS RUINED MY CREDIT SCORE!!!! I absolutely ABHOR THESE PEOPLE, they are THE worst!!! Seriously stay away at all costs.

I don't write many reviews but when something or someplace exceeds expectations I will stop by to share. Urgent Care Centers are so necessary and helpful, but what usually comes with it is long wait times and grumpy, overworked staff. I was able to "hold my place" in line online for a Thursday afternoon. I received a phone call 30 minutes prior to my requested time for a verification of insurance. I showed up on time with my paperwork completed. Front end, intake nurse and Dr. Cassie were all pleasant, efficient and helpful.

I was in and out in 26 minutes flat. 26 minutes!! My regular Dr.'s office couldn't have pulled that off. In addition I felt like they addressed everything I needed. Wow. Just wow.

Dr. Williams is a great doc. However, the billing practice and front office for Family Care have been misleading and unhelpful.

I checked my insurance before coming in and confirmed with the front office on the phone AND in person that my insurance plan covered a visit with them. Come to find out I was denied and owed in full on the visit. The Family Care billing worker even told me she had no idea how I got in because "We don't accept patients who aren't covered"

I had to talk to several "billing" departments and go back and forth with everyone there. They got the wrong home address for me, the wrong Provider ID on the documents sent in to my insurance, and incorrectly set up my internal portal with them. So I can imagine they also didn't really confirm my insurance and just wanted to get me in. They just felt a bit lazy and not very thoughtful.

I can understand its the day to day job and not expecting 100% customer satisfaction but am at least expecting 100% commitment to getting the details right!

First off, very rude lady that works there and calls for prescriptions... one is very nice the other is extremely rude and talks over you.

Second, Dr. Kim was very unprofessional with a physical I had scheduled 8 months before the appointment. Literally a week before waiting 8 months I get a call from his office to reschedule for months later because he was going on vacation.

I was trying to get work done all through Covid and check ups being 30 years old now and wanting to have a long term doctor going forward and be more regular. But Dr. Kim said physicals and "unimportant" things should be pushed off because COVID was a bigger threat.

To top all the ridiculousness off, they wouldn't renew a prescription I've taken for literally 20 years unless I had blood work but was traveling. So I went without my meds for two weeks. Then they want a blood test to get more, but I know my levels are too low so I asked to get me refills to get my levels normal and then I would test. But they played so many games about refilling, I was on their timeline and my life's schedule and health status was irrelevant to them.

They are so vindictive that 3 weeks ago I got a new doctor, they found out and 2 weeks later send me a letter than they won't serve me as a patient. I likely wouldn't have left a review but they are clearly just saving face. It's almost comical, like breaking up with someone and then weeks later they break up with you. haha childish stuff from a Doctor.

By far the most unprofessional office. I was waiting one time and some guy came in very angry at them and always thought he had a screw lose until now. I'm not exceptional, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else like I did. Far happier now with a doctor and office that cares.

Roxanna is great! She is patient, kind and caring. She showed my elderly mom so much respect. Added bonus: Dr Williams popped in to check in with mom. After a recent fall, I appreciate the time and care Dr Williams and his entire staff have shown us. A+++
