This is the least organized, slowest doctors office/ urgent care I’ve ever been too.

Scheduling an appointment? Plan to wait at least 45 minutes after you planned to be there just to get into a room. After you get in a room you’ll wait for at least an hour, if not two. I have never come here without using legitimately half of my day to accomplish anything.

Once you do get seen, generally the doctors and nurses are kind and attentive and will explain anything you ask them, that was really appreciated.

As far as the office staff, I almost always have trouble getting details about my appointments. There have been times I was asked to come in for a checkup, or a physical and the office staff told me “I don’t know if we offer that”. That, that’s unreasonable to me, you should know and you should’ve told me that on the phone when I called to make the appointment in the first place.

There was also a time I waited in the waiting room for 2.5 hours because they didn’t put my form into the stack of people who checked in, so one after the other everyone went in before me and I had to go ask what was going on.

Last thing, scheduling any of the “referral appointments “ like a dermatologist or something, is a nightmare. Every single time I call, the lady who does these is out of the office. Apparently only one person is capable of this job and is never there to do it.

All in all, if you can avoid coming here, you’re better off for it.

I cannot say enough bad things about this place. Just horrible front office staff. The main lady with short brown hair argues with EVERY patient and openly complains about her job. Please please please leave healthcare, as a healthcare worker of 6 years, patients don't need the constant negative energy you bring and unwillingness to do your job. Go find something that will make your life happier as you darken everyone's day. I had several tests done there. Have to get surgery and the surgeon couldn't get any reports from them because the front office is lazy (the main lady rubs off on the other staff ) I came twice and sat for over 4 hours trying to get reports and never got them. The doctors don't follow up after sending lab work and make it impossible for the patient to get their results or any help. It's crazy I had the best first appt and then it all went downhill. If you can avoid this place for care, please do so for your anxiety and health. They should shut down.

I’ve been going here frequently (every two weeks or so) for the past four or five months for a work comp case. The doctors seem nice enough, but the front desk and nurse assistant are extremely slow, and clearly take their time helping patients. I showed up on time for my appointment today, and just spent two hours and 45 minutes waiting to have a five minute conversation with the doctor. At this point, this is not an uncommon occurrence. I highly recommend finding somewhere else unless you want to spend half of your day here every time you go in for an appointment.

I will definitely would not recommend being a patient here, 3-4 hr wait time for appointments.

I have been trying to get a referral for physical therapy since 1.5.2024. Provider had sent 4x to my companies insurance and I have a copy of referral. As of today , 3.4.2024, I called insurance company and they still have not received and they even called provider and talked to person who handles claims to give them the right address just in case!!!! What the heck. This is outrages and iam furious!!! Update: 3/6. Called my companies insurance again and they got the referral. It just so happened I had an appointment and was able to get insurance company on cell with the person in charge of referrals here at providers and they had no idea the insurance company changed the adjusters! I was so glad we got it all straightened out and the young lady who handles the referrals at Families First is on top of my list. She was great and Dr. Was in office too while I had insurance on speaker phone to get all information taken care of. Iam so happy I want to change my 1 star to a 5 star but it won't let me!

This place is absolutely terrible. My son has had to go here for a work injury. We had an 11:00 appointment. It is know 12:36 and still haven't been seen. My son doesn't drive therefore I went and asked the very rude receptionist and her reply was" oh probably another hour?. And by the way Ma am your son is 38 yrs old and he can ask for himself" Rudest thing ever!. If he had a choice he certainly wouldn't be treated here, ever

Terrible experience. Would not recommend anyone come here for the weight loss program. 2 stars only because of the Dr's, as they were great. However, the front office staff and medical assistants were awful. Extremely unprofessional, breaking HIPAA, unknowledgeable and just rude. The place also just looks dirty as soon as you walk in.
Back story: I came here for the weight loss program. I did one month and liked my results with the medications so came back a second time. Their soy supplements upset my stomach so I did not take them. I was really just looking to speak to the Dr about my options and whether this program is even a good fit, as you HAD to buy their supplements to receive the medications. I told one MA that checked me in that I was just there to speak to the dr about something and then explained to the other MA that took me back to my room about my concerns. The first MA barged into my room with the door wide open, raising her voice at me, accusing me of lying to her (I technically don't have to tell anyone but the dr what I am being seen for), and proceeded to tell me "my daughter has celiac and she doesn't have a problem with these supplements" as if to discredit my concerns.... Celiac (intolerance to gluten) and intolerance to soy/whey are not the same.
Luckily, the PA that came in later was very nice and I was able to have a conversation with him and proceeded with paying for the program and getting my prescription, though the medication is out of stock and has not been in stock since; therefore, I have not actually gotten it.
I have found a better program for me and will not be back to Families First.
