⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Excellence Health Clinic and their outstanding team. My mother recently suffered a stroke resulting in right-sided paralysis and was discharged from the hospital on Sunday after spending time in both the ICU and PCU. First thing Monday morning, I called the clinic, and I was amazed by the compassion and efficiency of the office staff (Maggie is the receptionist and so kind)—they were able to schedule a same-day appointment for 10 a.m. with the provider.

I chose this clinic after extensive research and word of mouth, and I am so thankful I did. Excellence Health stands out as the only practice in the area that follows patients across all levels of care—clinic, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and even hospitals. Their seamless continuity of care was a significant factor for me, as it ensures that regardless of whether my mom is at home, hospitalized, or in rehab, her provider will remain consistent.

Provider Kristine Rynn and Dr. Portillia are exemplary. Ms. Rynn rounds at the local SNF (Flagler Health and Rehab), while Dr. Portillia oversees hospital rounds and also rounds at the SNF. This gave me such peace of mind, knowing that my mother’s history and needs would be known and respected without having to repeatedly explain everything to new providers. This comprehensive care model truly lifted a significant weight off my shoulders.

Our appointment on Monday only confirmed that I made the best choice. The office staff and MA's (Rebecca and Liza) were kind, caring, and compassionate. Ms. Rynn the provider took the time to go over my mom's hospital stay, medications, and every question or concern we had. She connected with my mom on a personal level, sharing her own health journey and providing encouragement. We left feeling safe, heard, and cared for—something that feels rare in healthcare nowadays.

Excellence Health genuinely cares for each patient, and we feel so blessed to be part of their family. If you’re considering this clinic, don’t hesitate. After doing my homework, I am beyond grateful for the incredible support system they provide. With the challenges of caring for an ill or aging loved one, having a dedicated team like this makes all the difference. We will always remain loyal patients of Excellence Health!

Every time I come to see the doctor, I'm greeted by Gloria who is a breath of fresh air. She's always able to answer my questions and her cheerful attitude makes coming in a joy!

I have been coming here for two years and I would say the inside staff are the most amazing amazing people ever but there is a big disconnect between the main Dr and the rest of the people. It should not take two to three business days to get medication from medication refills. I feel like majority of the time I have to stay on top of my medication more than they do. I’m currently right now still waiting for a medication refill and I went the day before. When they tell the doctor, you know why but you don’t get any timeframe of when you’re actually going to get your medicine. It’s so sad. The staff is so amazing. Amazing. But the process is like pulling teeth

Excellence Health is just that. Excellent health care! I feel they have brought back the human side of medicine. The ladies in the office are so caring and thoughtful it makes you feel you are getting the best care from very one in the office. the Doctors actually care about you and your health! And everyone in the office puts you and your health first! It is amazing! Dr Chavez is a super knowledgeable Doctor and he cares about your health, he actually cares and asks questions and counsels you to be as healthy as you can be and how to get the best health you can have. Excellence Health has brought common sense back into medicine. I love this office and I feel that they really care about me and my husband. I wish all doctors practice this way.

I came here a couple months ago and it was, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. After waiting almost 2 hours, they completely forgot about me and started closing. I heard the receptionist close the window and say to another employee “If anyone knocks just ignore it” so I went up to the window to talk to them. One of the girls kept saying they’d already seen me but no one had called my name yet. After figuring out who I was, the receptionist then turned to everyone in the office and said “WHO WANTS THE PATIENT?! WHO’S TAKING HER?! WHO WANTS THE PATIENT?!”
After seeing the doctor, the receptionist tried to schedule me for another appt, but I didn’t want to so I said I’m not sure when I’m available I’ll call back if I need one, and she said “You don’t know your own schedule?” All in all, the doctor was great, but the ladies at the front desk made that a horrible experience and I was incredibly uncomfortable.

I have been coming to excellence health for a few years now. The staff are very friendly and i love Delayna. My husband and daughter and I all come here.... when i have a concern about abything with my health she listens and does everything she can to Accommodate our needs... weather its a referral or something she can do... I love how personable her and the staff has been It i could guve 100 stars i would... I highly reccomend anyone to go here.
