Wow, I have been to VA's all across the country, and I'll have to admit I was a bit skeptical coming to VA North Little Rock. However, my experience here far exceeded my experiences of ANY VA I have been to and I was treated SO great! Nurse Connie was the sweetest Nurse I have ever had! She was amazing and she was able to calm my anxiety. My primary care Dr., Mr Spears was wonderful as well. I can't express the gratitude I have for how everyone treated me. I didn't get the fella's name who drew my blood but he was SUPER cool to me! Thanks VA North Little Rock for restoring my faith in the VA!!!!!!

I could share a whole laundry list of the brick walls that I have run into here for the past 10 years; But it wouldn't do any good.
Some things are never destined to change, and love for those who are hurting will never procreate on this planet until it is destroyed and to hopefully rise from the ashes.

Over all I have been taken excellent care of for the last 10 years here. They do have some logistical/administration issues but every establishment does. I have had 2 back surgeries and stomach surgury and all surgeons, nurses, and staff have treated me with respect. I did however have a nurse whom I'm pretty sure was under the influence of something, discharge me after my last surgury that was so out of it she almost closed me up in the elevator door and dumped me out of my wheelchair when leaving but I can't say the whole place is bad because of that one bad apple but that was the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

I would give 10 if I could. I went this morning for a phlebotomy at Little Rock VA and a lady named Kelly did it. She was awesome and I am very grateful for her patience and kindness.

I literally left the state because I couldn't get help here with debilitating issues. Within 3 weeks of moving out of Arkansas, I was seen by a PCM and specialist, did specialty lab work, and was scheduled for 3 more visits to specialty clinics!!! When your PCM tells you they don't care and to go to the ER everyday for that problem someone needs fired (Jaggers).

IMPACT For Pain program is great!!! Ask your PCP to get you into the program if you have ANY chronic pain!!!!
