Your Starbucks lady could use some hospitality. I asked her to make me a white chocolate instead she made me a white mocha. I almost wanted to give her the drink back and say I want my money back. When I tried to ask her nicely to have her make me a white chocolate with no mocha in it she’s like no I can only make it with mocha

Went to get allergy testing done for myself and my son. They combined both of our appointments into one even though we had separate appointment times. The dr asked basic health questions about myself. He then informed me that no allergy testing would be done. I have had several allergy test done on myself in the past, known allergies. My son has similar symptoms so wanted testing done to find out if and what he maybe allergic to. No test done on either of us, waste of two hours to see an allergy specialist when all that was done was vitals taken from both of us at the same time. If you or your family need allergy testing done in the Fargo area I suggest going to Sanford

I love my doctor at Essentia South University, but the new check in is awful! What in the world happened to personal service. I do NOT want to walk in and talk to someone on a screen or do the touch screen check in. It’s ridiculous that we can’t have an actual person there to check us in. Bring back the in-person to person check in! Bad move, Essentia.

For the most part I've had great experiences going through Essentia. I've had one bad experience with one of their male nurses who argued with me over paperwork that needed to be done by the doctor and sent in for one of my medications that ended up being a month late. It was to get that medication for free but I ended up paying full price for it or not have it at all. I haven't seen that nurse since I filed a complaint against him.
Currently my daughter has been diagnosed with depression & needs to see a therapist but they canceled her appointment twice now because their child therapist is on leave and has been for 6 weeks. They only have one child therapist. Now my daughter is upset and I have to try to find her help elsewhere. Talk about making a child feel like they're not important while going through depression. This would normally force me to give them 1 star but I gave them 3 stars since I've had both great & mildly bad experiences.

I enjoy this location and the doctors we see, however, NOT having people, real live working people, to check patients in is ridiculous. The two times I've been told to use the touchscreen to check in for my daughters ped appointments, the screen tells me the check in can't be completed. So besides the touchscreens being (probably) absolutely disgusting, the process doesn't even work.

I had an appointment at this location today. I went to check in for the appointment and learned there are no longer people there to check you in. They have a bunch of touch screens for you to do it yourself. I have 2 problems with that. 1. the system to check in does not let me make changes to information when it's wrong. (the same reason I don't check in online before my appointment) 2. They want us to use a touch screen that how many other people have used? Cancer patients go to this location. They want people with reduced immunity to use these. It is a clinic, sick people come here on a regular basis and they have to touch these screens too.
Whoever thought this was a good idea should be looked at a little closer.
I went back to my car and called to cancel my appointment I will not be back to this location until these are removed.

Doctors are Not concerned with your health. MINE does not communicate, charges you for questions not relating to your issue and when you dispute the charges the Dr.and Essentia come back with more charges with a comment that the charges are due to her going above and beyond for a 20 minute visit!!!
BTW Essentia charges you nearly $350.00 just for taking your weight and blood pressure before you see the Dr!
CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS!
NEXT TIME DO NOT CHOOSE ESSENTIA!!!!

I am sad to read so many negative reviews. I used to work at Innovis and Essentia for 10 years; and, I have chosen Essentia for most of my providers since then (I also choose some independent practitioners). Overall, I have been very pleased with my care and currently am receiving very good care from Internal Medicine (Jennifer Henry NP) and Cardiac Services (Dr. Lola, Dr. Mani and Danielle c. NP). The reception staff for Internal Medicine are very welcoming and helpful. Rarely, do I encounter someone who is less than pleasant or has poor bedside manner. I find "My Chart"' to be a helpful way to communicate with staff responding very quickly; I have also had good experiences with the nurse triage staff; as well as, communication with the billing department. I am grateful for the care I have received at Essentia; and, I let my family and friends know that this is where I would want to be cared for in a life threatening situation.
