I had a good experience with Equity Health. Dr. Wilson is kind and very professional. Her assistants are also very friendly. I can not thanks enough to Dr. Wilson who provide the effective treatment and advise in reducing my wife’s left shoulder pain. We are lucky to have Dr. Wilson as our primary physician.

My primary care experience here has been pretty bad. I had bloodwork done last year where there were some markers to watch out for. I received no correspondence on this until the following year when I went again for my next annual check! This was obviously unacceptable to me, so I asked if my doctor could make sure to notify me this time if anything came back. She agreed by scheduling a telemedicine call with me. At the time this seemed fine, but it was billed as a separate visit (read: expensive!) for something that she should have done anyway.

So I tried contacting billing. The billing department is so difficult to reach. They are technically supposed to have the same hours as the rest of the clinic but the 4 times I’ve called, there was no one manning the phone. I’ve tried contacting them via the online portal as well to no avail. Here I am 6 months later writing this review. Frustrating to say the least.

I am not going to go into details about my health care. Instead I will just say there are some good points, but some bad one too with Equity Health. At first, I thought they were better than average, but after getting ignored for more than a month, I am questioning switching to them a few months ago.

I made an appointment 1 month ago for my initial appointment as this is my first time having blue shield and that was the soonest appt. Appt was supposed to be 9/18… on 9/17, 1 hour after confirming the appt, I get a cancellation notification with reason being “other” and they automatically reschedule me for October without confirming with me. Because of this I decide to go to urgent care because I needed to see someone. Fast forward to today, morning of 9/19, they called me and said they have a 9:40am opening for the following day 9/20, so I accept it, and get it approved by my manager to take the time off to go. It’s now 4pm and I just got another cancellation notice for the same appt they called me about this morning. I’m sorry but the incompetence is insane, I would never trust these people with my health after this. I’ve cancelled all appointments and will be finding another facility. After reading other reviews seems I made the right choice. People take time off of work for this stuff and they obviously don’t care to mess with peoples life.

I can't believe it. Helpful and caring. And a clinic. I'm poor. And for years now I've bounced from doctor to doctor looking for one that will actually listen and help me. I found the place. Right here. I highly recommend this office. If you can't find a real doctor for the life of you. Come here, you will be shocked and that stress will poof vanish.

The employees are nice but never on time. Every time I come here I end up waiting 20-40 minutes extra for my appointment.

Some of the staff seem to not be as knowledgeable as you might expect.

My first visit was off-putting. I had another patient open my door while I was being seen. Then when I had my lab work done and the phlebotomist wasn't wearing scrubs at all. He was wearing street clothes. That left me feeling uneasy.

I will say that my PCP is super sweet and listens to my needs, which is why I continue to come here! The rest of the people that work here need to get on her level!
