Compassionate professionals who work like a well oiled machine who gave 24 hour care! This was a well organized, friendly and well staffed hospital. All the staff were so kind, patient, respectful and understanding. Medication were given at correct times, and there was never a need to call a nurse since staff were always available to help. Three hours of OT and PT daily. What a concept, people who truly care about others and live by the Golden rule!

All the Staff was great, courteous and professional. I regained a lot of my weight and strength back as well as walked again which I had lost. SOOOOOOOOO many respects to all the Therapy Staff, TOP NOTCH!! Also the Wound Care team was super. The nurses were also great. The kitchen team was spectacular as well. I wish I could have stayed longer to heal more and my Wound would be healed better.

My mom stayed here after having a stroke and I am so happy I made the decision on this facility. I was so blessed to have the best of the best watching over my mom. Julia from PT and Celia from OT were absolutely amazing, from the day that my mom entered this facility to the day that she left they always provided so much support emotionally and handled everything with professionalism, Not only did they help my mom to get stronger but they helped me as well and trained me on certain things to make my mom's life and my life easier on a day by day basis. I also want to thank Dr Shah who followed my mom's medical issues and made the right decisions in regards to her health. And to everyone who came in and helped her during this process nurses, assistants, case managers, cardiologists etc I want to Thank you or everything.

My father was admitted in December after a series of seizures so he could be monitored while on his new medication while also receiving the benefits of PT. I wish I could give a better review because the first week was amazing- my father was wheelchair-bound due to a stroke a couple years ago and was benefiting from their PT, even working on walking again.

After a week though, he caught the flu and became incredibly ill, which included an incident while he was taking a shower that no one can really give me a clear answer on what happened. After this incident, he has been unable to sit in the wheelchair and has been mostly bedridden. Despite the serious decline in his condition, he was still discharged on January 1st, during which time he had to be forcibly lifted into my car while previously he could do car transfers with minimal assistance. He also arrived home with numerous bed sores which leads me to believe he did not receive proper care once he became bed bound while in their care.

Though I was reassured this decline was purely because of the flu, a month after coming home he is still mostly bedridden despite being recovered from the flu. I have also called to request medical tests and results be sent to his doctor, and his doctor has requested them as well, but neither one of us has received the requested information from them or heard back.

While the facility has some incredibly nice and caring staff, unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone go here. If you go here and your condition declines they will not take the time to help you recover unfortunately. There were numerous days when I came to visit my father and I would call for a nurse via his call button and I would be left waiting for almost an hour for someone to come to his room. I tried to rationalize this could be due to the holidays, but the lack of response I have received since his discharge leads me to believe this is normal for them. If he ever needs rehab services again, I will not be sending my father here again.

This could have been a very hard time for me as I was just after a back surgery, my surgeon was clear in saying he wanted me to have good Physical Therapy Program, not a place to lay in a bed, but a program that will help me recover and get me to doing as much as I can do before going home, Encompass was just the right place, they work on every aspect of recovery and waste no time getting started and following your personalized plan to obtain optimum results in every physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy session. I spent ten days at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Tampa and I can tell you that this facility is a beautiful and clean facility with an exceptionally caring staff, at every level, you feel very fortunate to be there, the Doctors and Nurses are very thorough, every day they tend to your every need. I cannot say enough from my Case Manager Stacy all the way to the Chef, Pepe, and all in between. Kelly, Cassandra, Michelle, Mitzi, Kristen, Nicole, Dan, Erin, Jenna, Shivvy, Naomi, Samantha, Quinn, Jess, Bianca and Brook, and many more, I was very well taken care of and each one were very knowledgable, well appreciated in my time of need. I will be forever grateful. As you may see I would highly recommend Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Tampa and have no doubt you would have the same confidence in this establishment that I have after your stay.

I was recently a patient at Encompass in Lutz for 3 weeks. This was a fantastic facility. Newly built, state of the art, and an amazing staff! Everyone from my case manager, to my nurses to my PT and OT staff were so great and so helpful! They really helped me feel at home. I wish I could list everyone but special shout out to Megan (PT) and her crew in the “big gym” as well as Ann in (OT) they had me walking again and ready for discharge to safely return home. I will be forever grateful!

What an amazing rehab facility! I had come from five days in the hospital with a broken hip and broken shoulder, and they treated me with so much care and efficiency that it was OK I wasn’t home. Their physical and occupational therapists are amazing! Their facility is amazing for all of the therapy that might be needed for all cases. The staff, nurses, and doctors there are all amazing. It will be my go to place if I ever need to have rehab again 🙂

My grandmother was treated here a few times. The first couple of times, they were great. This last time it was like the new Case Managers don't care, confused about their own schedules, and have attitudes. I can say we were very kind and patient with them and did not receive the same feedback. They released my grandmother and lied about that she was ambulatory to get into a wheelchair. She cannot even stand up or get off the bed, so how is this correct? They lied in their report and to us. This facility needs to be reported. I called asking to speak to the director of the facility or a manager, they literally picked up and hung up the phone. I called back, but they did not answer. People and their families should not be lied to and treated as such. If you are not a caring person, then you should not be in this business. Lying on a report and to family is absurd and if not illegal. We asked to file an appeal to stay longer for treatment and they said no. Avoid this place at all costs!
