10/26/24 "Life" in Atasc, one of the WORST cities in one of the WORST counties in CA: There are only 4 pharmacies in this entire city. In my hometown in LA County there are between 20 to 30! In Atasc, since about Jan, the once great & mighty Rite Aid now has a mysogynist for a manager who is verbally abusive & very scary. I wont return there until he's gone. CVS now NEVER answers their phone, so not an option for me. My current pharmacy of only 4 months & the ONLY Walgreen's in SLO County has too many
miscommunication problems & med shortages. Today's issue was a real nightmare, causing me to start making plans to change pharmacies - again. So, I thought I'd look into switching to option #4. NOPE. NOT AN OPTION FOR ME. Too many obstacles. Too bad, bc El Soleil sounds really nice. The many positive reviews state this place is very customer-friendly & personable. Sadly, I will never be able to use this pharmacy. Why not? Because of its frustratingly limited hrs. WHAT PHARMACY DOESNT OPEN UNTIL 10:00 AM & CLOSES AT 6:00 PM & IS NOT OPEN ON WEEKENDS? That is a real turn off & deal breaker! Those hrs would never fly in LA County! Ppl get sick 7 days a week & at all hours & need emergency meds on Sat AND Sund, too! Due to my serious health issues & averaging 3 drs appts per week, I can NEVER make it to the pharmacy until AFTER 5:00 OR 6:00 PM - when my drs appts are over. ☆ ☆ These limited hrs are frustratingly the STANDARD for SLO Co. Whether SLO accepts it or not, it's been a 24/7/365 world since the 90s!! I will NEVER understand why SLO business owners INSIST on store hrs that are CONVENIENT ONLY FOR THEM & not that of the public's - members of their own community, their neighbors. SLO Co is also a high tourist area. I'm sure El Soleil & other SLO Co places with the same short-sighted hrs have lost a LOT of business & revenue from those who WORK & thus can't run personal errands during the weekdays until AFTER, 5, 6 or 7:00 PM, or must completely wait until the weekend! I'd be afraid to add up all the tourist dollars that have been unnecessarily lost during the past 25 yrs! ☆ ☆ So, unfortunately, until El Soleil begins to put customers first & extends their weekday hours from at least 8:00 AM to N8:00 PM & also adds non-chain-pharmacy weekend hrs from about 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, I wont be visiting any time soon. Remember, "If you build it, they will come," meaning, after you expand your hours you will be pleasantly surprised by the increase in the number of visitors & REGULAR CUSTOMERS who are fed up with chain pharmacies like I am. You will also be pleasantly surprised by the increase in revenue. This review is not intended to be mean-spirited. It comes from a place of kindness, honesty & practicality. If I didnt care, I wouldnt bother to write anything. ☆

Fabulous staff, helpful in so many ways and when no one else could get my prescription they came through in just a couple days. The customer service and speed reminds me of the old days and not the new pharmacy's where you are just a number. They made me a customer for life and I highly recommend you do as well.

They are always great there. Abel and Scott are very kind and caring, they answer any questions I have. They both have supported me with anything I need. They will go out of their way to help people and its always very clean inside the store. I have never had to wait long if any time at all. If they don't carry something they will do their best to get it in for you and its usually a day or two at the most. I also get texts every month of when to pick up my prescription and if I don't pick up right away I get reminders with more texts, and the texts will let me how many prescriptions I have to pick up. I have been very happy using them and will keep going.

I cannot say enough good about En Soleil, Abel and the team. They are such a warm hearted, wonderful bunch of people. Its like doing business with family. My prescriptions are filled right on time, they call me with any complications and handle most of them for me. I tried discounted bulk pharmacy places but I always come back here. It is the best! And I love that they carry 805 Botanicals too!

This is right out of the sitcom “Cheers” only it’s a pharmacy where they know your name, give personalized service, no waiting and have a smile for every customer. Scott and Abel will go above and beyond in filling your order, whether it’s mixing compounds, prescriptions, medical supplies, giving shots and even recommending another store if they don’t have it in stock! I have never run across a pharmacy that provides customer service like this! Kudos, En Soleil!

I love supporting smaller businesses. I am so glad I was told about this place. They were thorough and fast. Was told by our regular big pharma that a certain medication was no longer being made. Nope. They just don't pay attention. It is a major shortage all the way through February actually. Well, this pharmacist paid attention to that upcoming shortage in time to completely stock up. This was super important for my daughter to get some sleep without taking something that I don't approve of.
Also, I saw a review about discrimination. Not sure how they can confirm that. Maybe? Or were they just giving a description to confirm customer being spoken about. But, I was just in there with my daughter who is Hispanic and half pink hair. The medication was for her. I have a nose piercing. A few chances to discriminate either of us if someone wanted to stoop that low.... No problems whatsoever. Great service and experience so far!
