I became acquainted with the Emmanuel Project through another non-profit when I was trying to get sober from alcohol and getting a handle on my mental health. I didn't have health insurance and was low income so medication felt out of reach for me. I met with Dr. Maher at a pop-up event the first time and he met me exactly where I was, with compassion and support. Since that first meeting, Dr. Maher and his clinical coordinator Raley Moore have worked closely with me to manage my medications, as well as address my medical concerns. They have gotten me approved for two expensive medications through patient assistance programs, allowing me to get cutting-edge treatment for no cost to me. I appreciate everything that they do for me, and encourage others to use their services. I have always been treated promptly and with respect and kindness. Emmanuel Project has enabled me to stay sober and reach stability with my health! Thank you!
