Have always loved Eminence and would go again, but we were turned away today because my son has a rash, and they didn't want to risk exposing the healthcare provider who I was told is pregnant. I don't understand why someone would not be able to see a patient with a rash because of pregnancy, and if that is a concern, then they should have another provider who could see the patient available. We were asked to leave today, and I have never heard of anything like that happening in a healthcare setting.

***Update*** My son had no fever, no other symptoms outside of a localized rash, which I stated on the intake form, and a preliminary evaluation would have determined that his rash was not a risk to anyone. He was not looked at or spoken to by anyone other than the receptionist. We were able to get into his pediatrician that afternoon, and it was diagnosed as poison ivy/oak and has since been treated and resolved with steroids. I fully understand that pregnancy can pose challenges when working in a healthcare setting, and that the health of the mother and baby need to be considered and protected. However, healthcare is supposed to be a patient first setting, and if your provider is unable to see all patients, then there should be another provider available without having to leave the office. Or at the very least some sort of preliminary evaluation should've been done. Nothing about his rash looked like measles or chickenpox or shingles or anything that would have been of particular concern to a pregnant provider.

The reason for the 2 stars because This used to be my go to urgent care every employee is kind, but today that has changed no type of test or anything was done I felt rushed. So, I ended up having to get a second opinion where they were able to find out what was really going on, very disappointed.

Heads up. They close up to 40 minutes early. Arrived here at 5:20 pm and the door was locked. Go somewhere that will be open.

Great experience especially compared to the urgent care we typically go to. Everyone was friendly, we seemed to be treated very quickly considering there were several ahead of us when we got there. Very friendly staff which is so important when you don’t feel well. We have now switched to here for any urgent care needs.

10/10 would recommend this place for all your medical needs. Clean facilities, short wait times, friendly and professional staff. My NP was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. She even asked about my wife and spoke of her as if they were longtime friends. 💯💯💯

I have been to Eminence a few times at this point and have been very pleased with my experience each time. The wait times are short and I have been in and out in under an hour consistently. Leslie, the nurse practitioner, is excellent and is very knowledgeable specifically in pediatrics. The staff is kind and the facility is clean. We will definitely be going back for our urgent care needs.
