Mr Ellsworth, PA, was a nice enough fellow. Yet, when I went in last week to Summit's Pinetop urgent care clinic due to persistent symptoms of almost a month of a low-grade fever, chronic cough, fatigue (and 4 negative home covid tests) he seemed, well, a bit out-of-touch. Oh, and they don't give the PCR covid tests there (which are more reliable) so forget about that!
I had no fever when the tech came in to take my vitals, but had been taking tylenol.
Mr. E came in. Never looked into my throat, never checked my lymph nodes, never listened to my lungs. But he was very interested in how difficult it was to get an RV spot where we were staying!
He sent me away with a script for a Z-pak, and a chest x-ray. Boom. Next.
I'm seeing a physician this week. And hope he'll provide better care!
