I am a patient of Dr. Bourass and I wanted to be sure to provide a review of his services.

His level of professionalism is second to none as far as I am concerned. He is not the first Mental Health professional I have interacted with.

Dr. Bourass has an amazing bedside manner who shows an incredible level of care for his patients. He listens intently, he never interrupts while I am speaking, taking in every word I say to ensure we are always on the same page.

Today, during my appointment with him, I mentioned that I have a follow-up appointment with my endocrinologist on Monday and I informed him I would send him the results of that appointment. I am on hormone replacement therapy and I felt it was important he be aware of any increase of the hormone level I am currently taking and he agreed that was important information to have.

He is simply a great doctor all around and I could write so much more but I will close with this, Dr. Bourass is the best part of Elite Psychiatry in my humble opinion. You need more of him.

I don't think I have felt this normal in over 40 years. No problems sleeping, staying asleep or waking up cuz I'm looking forward to the day. Everyone should take time out for their own mental health and this was the perfect outlet for me. No bringing up bad feelings or hurt pain, anger, no throwing stuff. Most psychiatrists would either feed me medications or our appointments would be 5 minutes max. Hes taken the chance to listen to me, my experience with my mental health and other psychiatrists. Gave me the genesight test to make sure we were heading in the right direction as far as meds that could work and meds that wouldn't. And tackled each diagnosis one at a time until I was more leveled. I think that's awesome and extremely rare. He’ll dose you up small until you hit your correct dose, to not over or under treat. This doc really listens, I’ve spend close to an hour some days in his office with him listening and offering alternatives until I find relief. I feel like a new man. My anxiety is manageable and I’m in school again after 12 years. I can focus. And I’ve never felt so leveled with the bipolar meds he’s got me on now. He makes himself available24/7 by text for manic or panic attacks, or something going wrong with your medications. No other Dr. offers this.
If you’ve never seen a psychiatrist, or want the best office in Florida. Look no further.
This is the best psychiatrist I’ve found, and I’ve seen quite a few since age 12. I don’t mean that lightly.

DDR. Bourass, if you’re reading this. I want to give one last thank you for everything you’ve done. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else and truly believe he’s the best psych specialist in the state. Please give this practice a shot. You won’t regret it. I can personally promise you that.
