Dr. Houman Kashani is one of the BEST doctors I basically had randomly looked up online one day when I needed one, but have come back time to and time again for years for everything! He truly listens to your medical needs and always gives the best solutions and referrals! Dude is seriously amazing, I really can't stress that enough. Even after moving far away from the area, he's still the doctor I go to for injuries, sickness, yearly physicals and checkups, and even for mental health referrals! Great doctor, super nice, knowledgeable, and always punctual and straight to the point! I highly recommend him!

When my insurance changed, I chose Dr. Kashani. He is a GREAT doctor!!! I like that he takes his patients' pain seriously, unlike other doctors who just say it's nothing. He always wants to double-check, so he will recommend doing a blood test or writing a referral for a specialist.

I am glad he does that because, thanks to that, I was able to get treatment sooner rather than later. His staff are always nice, sometimes they get busy but overall they are very helpful.

The wait time is not long, never more than 30 mins with appointment. The office is always clean and they are pretty organized.

Based on his reviews, I was expecting exceptional medical care from Dr. Kashani, but that simply has not been my experience. While I don't think the quality of care is bad, it's certainly not 5 stars. My appointments often ran late and/or felt rushed. I never felt listened to, and he would be quick to give a prognosis despite very little time spent with the patient. Blood work, scans, x-rays, etc. can't be done in the clinic, so he has to send you to other clinics which can often take weeks to get appointments at.

That all being said, he does have great connections within the medical industry and can get you connected to great speciality providers in a timely fashion. Particularly, his GI doctor recommendation is stellar.

I appreciate that there is a decent doctor to provide healthcare to the South Central/USC community, but he just wasn't a good match for me.

I have been going to Dr. Kashani for 5 years now and have nothing but good things to say. After years prior of not feeling seen or heard by other doctors I can say I trust Dr. Kashani completely. He is very friendly and patient with me. I love that it is a small family business and his sister, who is also a doctor, does the gynecological appointments. She is equally amazing. The front office staff are also very friendly and always helpful, especially Evelyn. Even when it is really busy she is always professional and kind and responsive.

Kashani is a good doctor that cares for his patients but his office is very poorly run. Paper records. Long waiting times. Little to no follow through on requests for referrals. It leaves Kashani trying to mitigate that by being both doctor and front office manager and doing neither particularly well.

I have visited Dr. Kashani several times for routine checkups. He is a very intelligent and comprehensive doctor and did not rush me through my examination. He listened and gave me good advice and was not trying to rip me off with unnecessary treatment. Very clean and big office with lots of modern technology. I really recommend this place.

Update: Three years later and the Wonderful experience and professionalism is still palpable. Thank you ? for taking good care of my family and I. We are very happy with your service

I went to Dr. Kashani for my annual physical and he far exceeded my expectations. He was incredibly thorough and made me feel very comfortable. The nurses and other staff are excellent as well. My visits here have been fast and efficient. When I needed urgently needed a copy of records, Dr. Kashani responded to my email late in the evening going above and beyond what I would have expected. I will definitely return and would recommend this clinic to others.
