I’m not sure why people are having issues with this officeI have been a patient here for over 3 years and I have never had any issues here. The front office manager Kate is the kindest person you could ever meet , all the front end ladies are the best of the best in what they do. All medical assistants and PA’s are really great too. Naturally Dr Davina and her other MD’s are very kind and caring. I even changed my insurance to stay in their practice. I work in a medical practice too, so I understand waiting for appointments and so forth.
Give this office a chance, they are very busy always, but always willing to help you. They are the Best of the Best!!!!!!:)👍

I called for an appointment, they recommended to come in for a walk-in appointment. I arrive to check in, the said I had to wait in my car. I’m sick with a cold and already uncomfortable. An hour goes buy, still no text. I go back in, I was able to sit in the foyer. Almost 20 minutes later I received the text. Waited another 10 minutes. A very nice nurse practitioner came in and was very apologetic. If they would have informed me of the wait, I would have taken a later appointment at another one of their locations. The receptionist at the front desk was rude and could use some customer service training. I’ve been going to this office for several years. There seems to be communication issues inter office. I will not be going back. I just went to get my prescription, they never sent to the pharmacy. One more reason to find a new doctor.

I have held off doing this review for over a year and a half! I'd give zero stars if I could. Eleanor Davina was "supposed" to be my PCP but I NEVER saw her. Not sure my outcome would have been any different. On Monday, November 22, 2021, I drove myself to AdventHealth Waterman ER after having a brief office visit at the Lake Square Mall location with the ARNP. I had tried for nearly two weeks to get an appointment with the doctor. NOPE wasn't able to. So that Monday I called and told whomever I spoke with "this is NOT working for me!" Two weeks at home SUFFERING with severe abdominal pains.

Thank God for the colorectal surgeon! He literally saved my life. My appendix had burst/ruptured at home well before I arrived at the hospital. I had sepsis and septic shock with organ failure! On November 23, 2021, that evening I had a 4+ hour abdominal surgery. I was placed on a ventilator for several days because of respiratory failure. After 12 days of remarkable care from AdventHealth, I was discharged and did one week of antibiotic infusion at home. Then because of the second belly button I was given, I had a second surgery at AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs some six months later. Thankfully that surgery was only about 2 hours with 5 days in the hospital.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ELEANOR DAVINA ... NOR ADULT MEDICINE OF LAKE COUNTY. Nope, no way!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Davina for about 3 years and have been very pleased with her care. At the beginning of my first visit, I felt that she was in a hurry and rushing through, but quickly realized that was a misperception. She's very energetic and upbeat, but always takes time to make sure that she's answered all questions before she ends the visit. Getting through to the office via phone can be problematic--you seldom get through to a person and have to leave a message. It can be a day or two (sometimes never) before you get a callback. On the other hand, I had an emergency late on a Friday night that fell short of requiring an emergency room visit, but that I felt needed attention. I left a message with the answering service about midnight and received a quick callback from Dr. Davina.

4/30/2022: Since I originally posted this review (about a year ago), they seem to have resolved most, if not all, of the front office issues. I now almost always get a person on the line when I call. If I have to leave a message, I usually get a return call later that day or the next day

i have been trying to get in as a new patient since 12/22/22. i completed the online information. i was told a week to hear back, have called and left message with the new patient coordinator and no call back. i was just on hold forever and hung up. called back, same thing. relocated to this state and can not believe how hard it is to get a call back. i will post an update if i hear back from someone..anyone..at this office. there are multiple drs there. 🙁

I gave it a 3. Here’s why. My wife has been seeing Dr. Davina for 20+ years and we love her and her PA’s. The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They don’t return calls and don’t follow up on things like record transfers. 5 Stars for the doctors, 1 Star for staff - average of 3 Stars. If you can tolerate the constant revolving door of office staff, the doctors are great!

UPDATE: Just found out they locked us out of our Healow accounts. Guess we won’t be using Adult Medicine as our provider when we are in Florida. 😖

It’s nearly impossible to get them to send your records where you need them to in order to get vital tests. You call and get switched to the department you supposedly need only to hear it ring and ring and ring. I get it. You’re busy. How about allowing a person to leave a message and get a call back. (Oh like they’d call back) Ha! My Mom and husband & I are looking for a new Dr. Hopefully a Dr that gets involved in your health care that you see more than once a year. If that.
