If it would let me not even give it one star I would. It was my first time coming to this location and seeing BERNADETTE QUIHUIS, DO. I've been a patient at el rio ever since I was a child but I want to start off by saying this is the WORST LOCATION i've ever been to and the worst experience. First of all my question is how is this women even in the medical field?! It seemed to me like this lady DID NOT even know what she was doing. Not only did she look so unprofessional but her way of doing things were so different from other providers i've seen. She did not even give me answers and as soon as she was done she stepped out without even saying anything and never came back to give me information or answers, seems to me like i'm not the only one who has dealt with this lady. How is she even still working here? I am so upset and disappointed because not only did she waste my time but I came in for something very serious. Something needs to be done ASAP because nobody deserves this type of service and especially if it is medical related.

Was in el rio southwest location and everyone in the office was very knowledgeable and professional Shout out to Francisco MA, Dr Jackson, and Marcia in referrals, girl at the front desk and the girl doing xrays everyone was great i wish all offices were this friendly and willing to help

Went in for an emergency tooth extraction and it was the worst experience the dr was so rough and hard. I told her I was feeling more than pressure and she was like “no no it’s just pressure” umm no it was pain. She was too busy talking to 3 other people around her about concerts and plans then she was about being gentle and considerate for the fact I was already in pain. I left in more pain than when I went in. I couldn’t believe how swollen my face was and how purple my mouth looked. And the pain never stop it turned in to dry socket and there was parts of tooth fragments left. I had to go to a different dentist just to get the relief I needed. I have had other teeth extracted and this was by far the worst. I don’t recommend at all especially if you don’t have insurance or on State insurance they look and treat u differently. And their care is poor and unprofessional

Dr.BERNADETTE QUIHUIS was not only RUDE to my mother during her appointment yesterday but also didn’t have the human decency to face my mom while she talked or look at my mother when she would point to the places she was feeling pain. On top of that she cut my mother off MID SENTENCE and told her “I don’t have any more time for you” after only seeing her for a couple minutes. As if that wasn’t enough she LIED on my moms MyChart saying she “got angry and walked out of the room because there was no test result” even though my mom never asked about a test result non the less get angry and walk out. My mom remained respectful and clam during the whole visit. It was BERNADETTE who walked out. I read several comments complaining about this lady. She does NOT deserve the title of Dr. if this is how she treats her CLIENTS who come to her for MEDICAL HELP. I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND DO BETTER!

My daughter was supposed to have wisdom teeth removed with anesthesia scheduled on a Tuesday with the anesthesiologist to be there. Since we are still dealing with Covid I was not allowed to go back with her. She was taken back for her surgery I asked if I needed to pick her up in the back they said no she would come out through the front I was anticipating them to inform me that I needed to get her since she was supposed to be under anesthesia she called me from the back of the building crying they never used anesthesia she felt the whole thing the people were very rude with complete lack of sympathy or empathy for that matter, when I was on the phone with them regarding pain medication and what we were going to do and expressing my frustration they could have cared less and told me to call one of the other offices from where the orders were sent I will be making sure that I let everyone know about how awful this facility is and how they completely lack care for patients! To top it off they did bring in the gas mask and tank but never offered to use it on her she said she cried throughout the entire surgery.

I will NEVER go Back To El RIO & Will Never Be Seen By Such an Unprofessional & Unethical Rude Doctor BERNADETTE QUIHUIS!
She Does Not Listen Or Care about how u feeling or why u there to see her!
She will Not Treat You or test you properly .
I had to leave her office with out proper medical attention ,medications or even knowing what was wrong with me or how to feel better !!!
I asked for blood test before my appointment but yet she only tested me for what ever she wanted & not what i Requested or needed to be tested for!! NOW I gotta make a new appointment to get my blood test PROPERLY
Yall best belive she send me on my way home and charged my insurance tons of money FOR NOTHING!!! Have to make another app to see another doctor because Dr.Quihuis is good for nothing just ripping off erbodys insurance and not giving patients properr medical attention or
treating patients Profesional ! Im Disgusted by her unacceptable Unethical & unprofecional behavior!!

As a registered nurse, I am appalled by my customer service and communication with this dentist. I’m a travel nurse and had to get a root canal, core build up, and a crown while I was in Tucson. The main office is incredibly rude and short. No one follows up, I’ve had to call multiple times about my issues. I had to pay in full for my crown and core build up because they stated I was “denied” I called my insurance and that was NEVER the case. So not sure how they acquired that information. Staff continued being rude. I had to pay this unprofessional business $1600. I have been waiting OVER A MONTH for my refund of $800, I have called for or five times now and no one gives me answers. No one calls me back and no one follows through. Awful awful awful place.
