I had an excellent experience at El Mirador surgery center. From the minute I walked through the door to my wheelchair ride to my car,, this place was amazing. Every person I met with was welcoming, personable, professional and put me at ease for my upcoming surgery. Dr Dean, anesthesiologist, Dr Tokuhara, surgeon,and the nurses were amazing. El Mirador Surgery Center was everything I expected in a surgery facility and more. I highly recommend them.

My husband recently had a colonoscopy at this facility. Excellent doctor and staff. Highly recommended! I also had a colonoscopy about 10 yrs. ago here and was also extremely pleased.

Staff is very nice but their scheduling procedures are so disrespectful of those prepped for colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. Appointment moved after prep started and then required to sit in the waiting room another 2+ hours after that. Just not patient friendly.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. They answered every single question without hesitation. They made sure all my needs were met. If you have to have surgery I suggest you go here because they treat you like kings and queens.

The check in experience was horrible. Why does your check in staff BADGER and harass patients over their ride? Because you no longer allow medical transport to pick us up I had to find a last minute ride of my 90 yo neighbor who can hardly work cell phone technology. Because he wasn't there at the time of check in (nor was I told that he had to be, beforehand), and doesn't know how to use his cell phone, Amanda started being SO UNNECESSARILY RUDE to me, stating "he needs to answer the phone to prove that he's not an Uber/Lyft" and "why isn't he answering the phone, he's holding up your procedure." (My procedure that wasn't for another hour and a half from check-in). She was being so aggressive about it that I was pushed to the point of getting indignant and practically having to tell her to back off. She was adding so much unnecessary STRESS to an already stressful procedure. Same with Aria who called me the day before. Aria BADGERED me about the ride. I HATED my check in experience. Stop HARASSING your patients and criminalizing them just because their ride isn't in the waiting room with them or answering their phone!! Not everyone wants to wait around for 2-3 hours and would rather get errands done while they wait!!! Complete jerks Aria and Amanda were to me. But, once I got past the door to the nurses and the doctors were so professional and so kind. Check in can learn a lot from them.

NOT SAFE, after a simple out patient surgery they gave me too many pain meds and had to administer Narcan, called my husband and told him I was in respiratory arrest and purple, scared him and I could have died!

I had eye surgery on June 27, 2024. I could not have had a better experience. Nurses were Knowledgeable, Kind, Patient. Anesthesiologist Dr. Levy was great and also Dr. Lin was great also. A shout out to Christopher 10/19. I am still recovering, but wanted to thank you all at the center for excellent care.

I can say Dr's Collen,and Dr Levi and all Nurses in the G.I surgery center were so nice professional kind. I belive the Dr's and Nurses know how to make there patients feel very comfortable Thank you El Mirador Surgery for taking care of me.
