The therapists here pass me around like a ragdoll. I haven't gotten a therapist to stay long enough to open up and talk about what's happening with me. They have a really hard time keeping a therapist set to their patients. Today when I reached out for mental health help because I was struggling I got blamed for my mental health because I will not keep seeing their therapists and keep getting passed off. I even explained I didn't feel safe talking to the therapists when this is happening but I was blamed for what's going on with me because they're inconsistent. Dr. Singh's med person continued to push the topic on me past my explanation for why I don't see their therapists. I don't think a mental health worker should be blaming a patient for their mental health when they were reaching out for help. I do not recommend this place for mental health treatment.

Doctor Price (psychiatrist) is absolutely horrible. He has been prescribing medication to my mom for years even though it has put her in the hospital and almost killed her 5 times. He knows about it and refuses to stop prescribing it and now my mom is extremely addicted to them. I’ve called many times explaining what’s happening and my family has written grievance letters and no one ever responds. It’s all about money here and no one cares until you’re dead unfortunately.

Have a severely depressed grand daughter to the point of possibly Suicide. Called Eldorado mental health center to get some help. After initial interview by phone on day 1 had to wait until the next day for an assessment by phone day 2 then we had to wait for a supervisor approval to find out my grand daughter was not severe enough. Eldorado mental health recommend that we go to Marshall hospital. What a joke. Glad she didn’t try to commit suicide. I would not recommend Eldorado mental health in diamond springs to anyone that needs mental health services it’s a waste of time go directly to your nearest hospital.

El dorado mental health in placerville is an absolute joke. I went there when i could no longer afford to visit my dr in carmichael. They refused to give me the antidepressants that i was on even though it meant that i would go though withdrawals which i did. Told me my psyciatrist was overperscribing and probably under investigation (i had been on the same dose for 10 yrs). I have NEVER had a worse experience. Luckily, i am now seeing my psychiatrist again. She has indicated that she has everything documented and will support me if i chose to pursue legal action. If i could have, i would have given them 0 stars. They are useless. This was/is not a fun drug or a drug that would be abused, it's called effexor... an antidepessant that allows me to function.

Before Covid I was blessed to have received the help I got here. I took an option for group therapy and it was a great experience. It has been almost a year past but I still use the techniques they taught me every day. I can easily say that EDCMH changed my life in a positive way.
