Dr. Gharagozlou has been taking care of me for the last five years. He is an exceptional doctor. I have very rare and scary medical problems and he has guided me and watched over me from day one. He has always made sure I am getting the specialized care I need and has stayed on top of all of my millions of hospital visits, surgeries, etc. and has given me the best care possible. He is such a kind and gentle doctor who truly treats his patients with the utmost respect. I highly recommend him as a doctor and I so glad that he is mine.

Dr. G and his staff have great service. My mom is always well cared for on her appointments. His referrals are of the best who specialize in what they do. My mothers experience has been positive every time. The trust is there. I agree with another review that says he has a complete study of medicine. He is very knowledgeable. I'm so happy for my mom to find a doctor who really knows what they are doing and what they need to diagnose accordingly.

Dr. Gharagozlou is amazing! He is great with his patients and spends as much time as needed with you to get all questions answered and also just to get to know you. He was also able to addressed my husband’s health issues. I can still remember those days (calls to 911 and those trips to the ER) which are so frightening but after meeting Dr. G, everything changed! I’m really thankful for his compassion and his commitment to his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

The doctors staff at both Antioch and Concord are rude and incompetent. It's too bad because the doctor seems like he might be good. Just really slow. Trying to get established in care being a middle aged woman. I felt brushed off and ignored. When I expressed menstral pain he said that the whole OBGYN field seems to act like most things of that nature are exaggerated and he felt the same way.
The staff did not do the foot work 100% of the time. Referrals for scans or specialists were sent to the wrong location, wrong info, incomplete info, or just not sent at all. Good luck getting a hold of the doctor. Also, if you have an emergent issue he is not available for same day next day appointments. Even when you state I was in the ED last night and need to follow up within 1 day. I was offered a phone appointment 3 days later.
I promptly switched PCP after months of consistent frustrating phone calls just to make sure the staff did what they were supposed to.

I found Dr Parham through the contra costa county health listing as highly recommended for the past 7/8 years. I have been struggling with ptsd, depression, anxiety, sleep apnea, alcoholism and addiction for many years. He recommended me to go to AA and rehab. He also got me a c pap machine for my sleep apnea due to me being 270 lbs, I used to be 190 until I fell into everything. He helped me through the many years, I have been sober for almost 6 years, I am back down to 190 lbs and no longer use the cpap. And, yes, none of my problems will go away, there is no cure, but he has helped me learn to control them. No more suicidal thoughts, even after attempting 3x. Still sober, and after today's appointment he told me I have come a long way, and I agree, I was a mess back then.
I highly recommend Dr Parham. He pushed me to get myself better and I have. Thank you so much!

Dr Gharagozlou has been taking care of me and my husband for one year, his knowledge is up to date. His diagnosis is the best. He also has organized health program for us and appropriate referral to other specialist in other health center for follow up. He is very expert in respiratory disease and treat my husband’s sleep apnea and his snoring is getting very well,in deed he also helped me to sleep well !!!we are glad that he is our physician.

I have been a patient of Dr Gharagozlou's for the past 4 years. I watched his practice grow from a modest beginning in Concord, to an added office in Antioch with a considerable increase in patients. Perhaps they too have come to understand the value of this doctor, as have I, and to appreciate his knowledge, expertise, care and dedication.

A doctor for me must first be a human being who interacts with me on a human level. I want him to take his time, answer my questions, talk to me and hear my concerns and also to work with me regarding treatment options. I want a doctor-patient exchange and not a "business exchange".

Dr. Gharagozlou delivers this package! I could not have remained on as his patient otherwise. When you have this base, good doctoring and good medicine is then possible!

He is thorough and careful in making a diagnosis. He will order the necessary tests to arrive at an accurate diagnosis of presenting symptoms. He does not take chances or overlook one's condition. In the past when I was concerned about taking certain medications, Doctor G was willing to go beyond the office visit, to read and look at some research in order to answer my questions and address my concerns. Ego does not prevent this doctor from recommending a visit to another physician or specialist whenever he feels like an issue deserves a closer look. This also is most important.

His staff is fantastic. They are reliable and on top of whatever other needs a patient may have ranging from scheduling tests, sending orders over, getting meds and dealing with insurance.

In a few short sentences I can sum it all up:
"I am a very picky patient. I do not remain with doctors if I am not satisfied or if certain conditions are not met. It's been over 4 years and I'm still here!"
