I had my first visit with Dr Purdy on 05/11/2023 and boy was I pleasantly surprised! He is an incredibly understanding and caring man. I really felt very comfortable with him. He listens to you and you can tell he really cares! I am so happy that I have found him. His office staff is absolutely incredible. So very gracious and caring and just a pleasure to be around. I just can’t recommend him enough! I’m was very impressed!

I’ve only recently moved to Alabama, Dr Purdy has been nothing short of amazing. I have had many doctors tell me about a health issue that I have but NONE has took the time out to figure out WHY as Dr Purdy has done for me. I can’t thank him enough. I am truly grateful to have found a doctor that cares and LISTENS. I truly understand what people mean when they say “I’m not changing my PCP” I never will. Incredibly grateful.

I have been feeling bad for a while now. I moved and had to change Dr's. Dr. Purdy did complete blood work on me. I found the staff very friendly. And I feel that Dr Purdy listens and cares about his patients.

Wonderful doctor!! He knows his field and takes it seriously. He takes time and talks to patients in a way they understand and can relate to -- not with the medical jargon that some doctors throw out expecting the patient to understand. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a caring physician.

I really wish I hadn't had my husband visit this office. They incorrectly coded a routine physical and we had to get in touch with the insurance company to get this corrected. When I called Dr. Purdy's office, I was told that I was wrong, that they correctly coded the visit. I had to get my insurance company to tell them that they incorrectly coded the office visit to finally get this issue resolved. Here it is months later and I'm still getting bills as a result of them not putting the right diagnosis code so now certain labs aren't covered.
Just my experience with this office. I'm sure this office works for other people, but my experience hasn't been the best.

Prescribes pills to mentally ill patients without doing a proper evaluation. Continues to call in any prescription that a patient wants which leads to addiction. No wonder he is called Dr. Pill Pusher…

Horrible! Front desk lady had absolutely no communication skills nor proper language ability. She was also non emphatic for the needs of a patient. If I’m correct doctors are supposed to take an oath. I see why after researching this is why he is referred to as a “pill pusher.”

Dr.Purdy listened to everything I had to say and was caring and had empathy.... I wasn't just a number he called me by my first name and actually remebered my. He is the best doctor I ever had
