New patient. Terrible process with scheduling, front office can’t figure out how to read between files. Told me I wasn’t “in their system”. Then called me and informed me they “were looking at the wrong file.” I had an appt at 10:40. Waited over two hours. They have their thermostat set at 50degrees or so. Absolutely terrible service. The “nurse” only checked my vitals and said “she will be right in… nobody followed up as I waiting for the two hours. I went out to ask what was taking so long and I was told that there is still a person ahead of me, I asked why it was so time consuming & the nurse said “oh nobody told you this wait time was normal?” Why the hell would I come and forfeit my 3 hour morning to sit in a freezer by choice!? This office needs to better and be better with their scheduling. It’s not just the doctors time that’s valuable we are also hard workers who pay their taxes.

Dr Diego did both of my pregnancy’s! And still cares for my two children and I. The waiting for your appointment is long but that’s everywhere you go unless your rich. The nurses some are amazing and some are rude. I love this place cause my babies grew up with it and Diego has always been nothing but kind and helpful! A huge blessing!

My niece had cancer during her pregnancy. Dr told her it was normal to have the pain she had. She had many trips to the emergency
room. She took her time to send her to Stanford until the family got more persistent for her to act. My niece left behind her newborn, 2 children under the age of 5 and a teenager. I don't care that you get to be recognized. .Too little too late. Think outside the box next time when a patient tells you they have pain. When. I was pregnant with my first child I was also told it was normal. That Dr was stupid and wrong I had gallbladder issues. It's not always normal to have pain during pregnancy. So next time care enough for your patients.

This Dr's office used to be good. I was able to finally find a Dr's office that actually cared, listened, and helped. That was a few yrs ago. Today I can honestly say they are no way helpful. All they tell me EVERY TIME I CALL FOR ANYTHING.. go to urgent care.. go to urgent care. Why? If I have a Dr why should I go to urgent care for everything I need .? And when I wait 2 weeks to finally talk to a practitioner they spend a whole 2 min. with me not even doing anything. They may listen but their solution is always make another app or go to urgent care. What happened to this office? Now I feel like I used to..there is no one who will help me so I feel like giving up. What's the point of trying when no one cares?

I can’t believe I left my Regular Dr to come to this Dr Diego🥺
She didn’t take good care of me
I only saw her 1 x out of 12 months , She never has appts and I called for labs
And never send them
I take too much medicine and she never worry to check my labs😭
I have been calling for the last 7 days to get help for a colonoscopy and is always the same answered “ok we will call the specialist and I called again and no one knows about my situation, It seems that they just tell me ok we will do it and no Notes are enter!
I have to repeat myself every time I called because they don’t see anything on my file . So sad how Some Doctirs now a day they don’t care for their patients.

Re: Dr. Diego; Waited 1 hour in waiting room for 9 am new patient appointment. When she came in, only asked me questions to clarify the health history form while standing with her back to me; cut me off when I tried to discuss several concerns I had; only spent 5 minutes with me; told me to get blood test done. When I went to the lab for the blood test, she had ordered 3 other tests without telling me or discussing them with me - the lab person had to explain to me what they were for!

Pharmacy called me to pick up medications I didn't know she had ordered and didn't know why they were ordered. Had to read about them on the medication information. No follow up appointment was discussed and still has not been made for her to discuss results with me.

I expect, unless there is an emergency, to not wait for an appointment for an hour, especially one of the first appointments of the day. And I expect the receptionist to tell me if there's going to be a wait more than 10 minutes long, which was not done either. I expect a physician to order a follow up appointment when ordering tests to explain the results. I expect the physician to tell me what tests they are ordering and the reason. I expect, especially on a new patient visit for the doctor to actually talk with me, not just question me about a form. Very disappointed.

Waiting room was full - can't believe so many patients for only two doctors. When I tried to call the office about a prescription refill and lab tests/results, I called 3 times in one week, each time on hold for 15 minutes before giving up and hanging up. Never did reach them. Received a referral to a specialist in the mail - again, never discussed with me - never told why I was referred or given a preference as to who to go to. I went with high hopes, as my past doctors have been wonderful, but I had to leave them due to moving to this area. I am very disappointed. Have already changed to another doctor who my mother is seeing and our experience was very different.

Dr Gil is very sweet however when you call her office you better have a lot of time to waste. They don't answer the phone. It rings and rings. If they answer they put you on hold. My first and second appt. they forgot about me. I was the last one sitting in an empty waiting room both times. The third time and fourth time I wasn't forgotten about but my wait in the waiting room was over an hour and a half hour waiting in the exam room. So you better have a lot of time if you choose her. She's super nice but has too many patients. Her front staff needs to be re trained.

This facility is unequivocally the worst, most frustrating place at which I’ve ever been treated. Diego was not around for the first two months of my bilateral ankle tendon and ligament tears. I had to call and stay on hold almost an hour to remind them to call in my prescription. Their lack of verbiage on my MRI request specifying the problem is the reason the request got denied. Diego doesn’t care about me or the fact that I couldn’t walk. And her vocational school flunkies who get on the phone to try and relay lab results are a farce. Then they have the nerve to get upset when you try to make them do their job. When Diego isn’t absent from her office, her office hours are laughable. 8:30 to 4:30 with a 2 1/2 hour lunch!!! She should just be a surgeon so she only has to operate a couple days of the week and not bother with actual patient one on one care. I’ve filed a complaint with my insurance company. Nobody should be referred to this office because the “doctor” isn’t even there. I called Diego‘s office halfway through my physical therapy sessions so she could see my progress, only to be told that she wasn’t around again, she’d be back for a week then gone for two weeks then back for a week then gone again. Pathetic, sub standard medical care is all I’ve experienced at Family First and with Diego. The bar just keeps getting lower and lower & these unacceptable practices are becoming the norm. Tacky and uneducated are the best ways to describe Diego and her staff. I’ve switched doctors now, I deserve better care than anyone in this office is capable of providing.
