I just got my records from this doctor. Not only has he not been keeping good records of my chronic pain issues. He has diagnosis in my record he hasn't even talked to me about. I know other patients of his in my family who happen to not black and the service we get obviously different. I am having to make appointments and make suggestions about solutions to my health issues, while nonwhite family members are getting call backs and regular visit for what THEY consider nonissues. One session he even said to me "Well, that seems like the best logical step in treatment." Then why did he send me away with no follow up appointment and why wasn't it his suggestion? His nurse ripped up my personal records making copies and other staff rolled her eyes when asking for basic information. You have to call twice for every medical request.Go to the city for a doctor .

I am sitting her looking at my refferal records in tears because I was right in feeling I was talking to a wall when in the room with this doctor. Having chronic pain is enough without dealing with bad doctors. Primary care doctor, as I already had a pain management doctor and was looking for referrals to physical therapy, hormone therapy, and etc. Never asked for pain medicine.

Response to response: I didn't say my other family members got good care. I said you were more willing to serve them and it was probably because they were white. Or, maybe, they had issues you knew how to handle(?), but I hope if that was the case you would be honest with your patients, letting them know you cannot help them and have no refferal or solutions to offer(?). That is not what happended here: I walked in your office and told you I was living with constant pain and you told me to come back in 6 months. That is not trust worthy or even doing the minium. I told you my hesitation so you would understand my feeling and past experiences (where I was misdiagnosed, given the wrong medicine, under gone unnecessary surgerys, etc.- none of which is in my chart but we spoke about). Instead you ignored me, put half truths in my records, and diaganosed me with ailments that you never spoke to me about that I had to read myself when I requested my records from your office.

You had no plan to serve me as a patient.

Past doctors I reviewed were the ones who gave me the wrong medicine, misdiagnosed me and treated me incorrectly for years, other refused treatments because "they didnt know skinny people could experience endo pain", completely ignored me(you) and even given me exmerimental drugs for their benefit. I leave these reviews because people need know the struggle women of color go through to get help for life dibilitating disorders and how they are treated by doctors on a daily basis. (Jonesboro is not a big city: Memphis, Dallas, Atlanta, Little Rock, barely.)
