Dr. Russo recently performed rotator cuff surgery on my mom. While the surgery itself went fine initially, the experience afterward was disappointing. My mom began experiencing severe pain and a burning sensation in her stomach, which concerned us. However, when we reached out to the office for help, no one returned our calls or emails.

For a doctor’s office, I believe responding to patients promptly is essential, especially after surgery when time-sensitive issues can arise. Unfortunately, it also took an unreasonably long time to get referrals, emails or calls answered, and no follow-up care calls after surgery . This lack of communication and support made the recovery process much more stressful than it should have been.

Dr. Russo repaired two substantial rotator cuff tears and bicep tear along with a bone spur. I recovered very quickly, and back in the gym in around six months. He was always available if I had any problems along the way. It’s now been about a year since my surgery and I’m feeling better than I have in a very long time!

This is your guy if you need rotator cuff repair.

Dr. Russo and his entire staff are very knowledgeable... using the latest techniques available. Polite and courteous , every effort is made to see patients in a timely manner. Dr. Russo has been my orthopedist for many years and several surgeries. NOEH and The Multi- specialty Clinic, I would highly recommend to all.

The week after a skiing accident resulting in a bilateral scapular fracture, he forgot about me because he went to a birthday party on another floor. I waited almost two hours.

In that appointment, he said he knew a guy in physical therapy, and that his nurses would schedule an appointment.

They never scheduled it, and I went two weeks without physical therapy. I'll never get that back, and I have not fully recovered after two years.

Dr Russo is a wonderful orthopedist who cares about his patients and takes the time to explain thoroughly your condition and all therapies and follow up care. He is personable and I love that he doesn't order a lot of non essential tests. I went back to him recently for a painful knee and he inquired about how my broken shoulder was doing (I had broken it 8 months prior) and noticed I cut my hair. This is a doctor with a great eye for detail! I have been recommending him to my friends and relatives.

Dr.Russo and his Staff are Amazing! They are very personable take their time to go over any concerns you may have. Dr.Russo is an Excellent Orthopedic Dr as well as a Surgeon. I just can’t say enough about them. I do highly recommend him to anyone that needs a Orthopedic Care.

This office has ignored official requests for my medical records by my current Dr. in California going on 5 months now. It has caused my treatment plan to be completely derailed and I have been in significant and constant pain the entire time. Almost half a year of delaying necessary information for me to move forward with treatment in a new state is ridiculous and negligent. Even when I was still in New Orleans, this office was reluctant to provide my records to me in person and sent me back and forth to two different clinics where the staff argued over who should have my records and why they were incomplete. I also found visit summary notes written by NP Keller where she recorded false information regarding a previous surgery and after-care provided by this office. She wrote that I had no specific complaints in regards to that surgery when I did, in fact, have many. Dealing with this office has been a literal pain and I’m at the end of my rope trying to communicate through normal channels. Maybe this review will get the attention of someone who will fix this situation so I can continue with treatment.
