Firstly, Naomi herself is 5 star. The front desk medical ladies are great. The problem is with their billing. My insurance provides 4 free visits and then charges 10%, which is around $10. Their billing mismanagement forced me into paying over $300 this year. I see Naomi regularly, so I am there every two months, I can't miss these appointments. I've been there 4 times this year. I should not have had to pay anything. They slough you off to a "billing number" that rarely answers. My insurance says they overbilled me and sent in too much (all of charged) money and has sent them a check to reimburse me. That check was cashed by them, per my insurance, a couple weeks ago. So far zero money has been returned. We've spent over 10 hours on the phone working this. My wife has my insurance and is billed properly there. We've reference her billing as to what mine should look like and were told we were reading my EOB wrong. It says in plain English four free visits.

Incredible clinicians that are caring, thoughtful, and thorough. PA Waak and NP Grant are some of the best practitioners I’ve ever had. They take their time and ask questions. They have caught health issues that other clinicians have completely overlooked and/or dismissed. I had an ongoing health concern that they solved with 1 visit! I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a new PCP.

DO NOT VIDEO CHAT THEM- to many times I have been forgotten about and left waiting for hours.
Go in person because then at least the staff can see you waiting.
The staff doesn’t seem to fully communicate -
Naomi is absolutely amazing! Absolutely adore her! Most attentive NP/doctor I’ve ever had!

Dr. Schechter, Naomi, Connie and everyone else at a-town family med have always been amazing for me! They're very attentive to my needs and concerns and always calls me back fast. I have always felt comfortable with all the staff in the office and they make sure you feel welcomed as a patient!! I would recommend Atown family med to any person that is need of a new primary or osteopathic medicine. The staff is also very professional and timely with helping me with prescriptions or scheduling my appointments. Cannot talk enough about how much I appreciate this office and their stellar staff!!!

I love Dr Schechter and her team. In today’s world of medicine I don’t give 5 stars often. The doctor will validate you and your concerns. The PA is knowledgeable and good with meds. The medical assistant is on top of it, taking care of referrals, diagnostics and meds ASAP. The receptionist are friendly and helpful. They have adequate help so you aren’t on hold listening to elevator music for 30 minutes. I’m so grateful I found this small town doctor’s website office. She’s a concierge doctor and worth every penny! Thank you team Schechter.

Impressive practice. Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, but down to earth and not intimidating. Cameron has helped me so much with my medical issues rather quickly and is easy to talk with, which I feel is the most important quality in a medical professional. My husband will be seeing him as well. This practice and staff are honestly the best in the area. I highly recommend this practice for MDVIP

I have had nothing but incredible experiences at Atown Family Medicine. They are easy to contact, quick to schedule, and helpful with any requests for prescriptions/etc.
