Dr. Melden is friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. He was easy to speak with and has a great “bedside” manner. I really enjoyed speaking with him! I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. I have been seeing psychiatrists for 25 years and he is one of the best!

he is okay at his job, but what makes me give him a one star review is that he doesn’t fill my prescriptions in time for them to be available when they’re out. at first i thought it was my pharmacy having a difficult time getting them ready in time, but found out that it was dr. melden not calling them in. if you can handle not getting your meds for a few days, and have been considering him, great. this is your guy. if you’re like me and cannot handle getting the medication in time because you risk getting ill/head sick after missing one dose, i’d recommend someone else. currently looking for a new psychiatrist ✌🏻

The two appointments I had each time he tells me that there’s something in my eyes and that I’m hiding something from him. And these are on zoom as well. I’ve seen a lot of docs before but have never heard someone say this after the first 5 minutes of an appt. I’m not taking this personally and neither am I offended by it, but I did find that very bizarre. I’m betting he says this to all of his patients . Also had my parents waiting 15 mins for the appt to start and then he comes in without saying good morning or any type of greeting. Fake and shallow doc, don’t waste your time and money.

A very quick paced, superficial doctor. If you want to pop pills and get refills, he’s your guy. But if you’re looking for new insights and ideas, empathy and consideration, look elsewhere.

Our son with autism was treated like a criminal by this man. He has no empathy, no compassion, no patience. He does not listen. He traumatized our son and our family. Stay away if you have a child with a psychiatric issue or developmental disability. He called my son "strange." Seriously. Stay away.
