What I appreciate most about Dr Leslie is the ability to explain complex medical issues in a way that is easy to understand, helping me feel informed and empowered in my healthcare decisions. Dr. Leslie Diaz and her entire staff were awesome. I have no idea where the other reviews on this site came from..... but they are so far out in left field and wrong. Dr. Diaz and her staff, particularly Gina her head nurse and office manager, treated us with the utmost respect and compassion. We got an appointment with Dr. Diaz the very day the Wound Care Center in Jupiter got the culture results for the infection on my husband's leg. We started treatment that very day and he was treated everyday for 3 weeks. The Nurse Practitioners and other nurses and office staff were great!! This is the place you want to go if you have a viral or bacterial infection. Dr. Diaz will have your back!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Diaz for nearly six years. The doctor is the premiere infectious disease doctor in South Florida. Not only is Dr. Diaz a brilliant physician, she is an empathetic listener and a person with whom I have grown a strong bond with. The office staff go above and beyond to care for all patients. I cannot imagine having another provider. If you have a negative view of Dr. Diaz and her staff you simply don’t get it. Dr. Diaz is the best of the best.

The doctor was very nice during my hospital stay. However dealing with the office staff is atrocious! No concern, and bold face liars! they get very defensive the moment you start to ask questions! Its been over a month after leaving the hospital and have not had a follow up. Finally they set a day and (Erica) called to check me in told me it would be shortly. 50 minutes go by and no word. I called back and the other nurse (Michelle) said Dr Diaz was in an emergency. turns out they lost my test results & completely lied about it said and she was in an emergency. When I called them out they never apologized. Absolute atrocious behavior when you have to trust your life and well being with them!!! Finally get Dr Diaz on the phone and she abandons me during critical care no reason just I don't want to help you!!! My surgery is in a few weeks and I need the meds but because her office messed up, and feels it easier to drop me then own their mistakes and lies!!!

January 2020 I tripped and fell at my son's house visiting my new grandbaby. I ended up breaking my already broken hip. Obviously by ambulance I went to Jupiter medical center. After my first surgery I developed a terrible infection within about a week. Every single nurse that worked on the orthopedic floor where I was was absolutely wonderful it seems weird but I enjoyed seeing them every time I had to go back which was eight surgeries later. Dr Leslie Diaz was my infectious disease doctor I don't think I've ever met a more compassionate and caring doctor. She made me feel like she had time just for me when I know how busy she is with covid and everything else. Anyway it's over a year later and I'm still infected I'm so looking forward to my appointment with her today because of everyone she has given me the most hope. She came in my room daily each time to talk to me. I called her office and she was not on my insurance yet she still gave me the care that a doctor who truly cares did. I switched insurance companies so now after almost being hopeless I get to talk to her again. I just want to say that she is an excellent person not only just an excellent doctor but a very compassionate person and I believe if anyone can help me get rid of this infection Dr Leslie Diaz will be the one.

Saw Dr Diaz when I was admitted for emergency surgery to remove a MRSA infection. Although it would be late at night sometimes before she made her rounds at the hospital I always felt like I was in good hands.
Ended up having to have another surgery instead of being released after being there a week.
Once I finally got out I was on a pic line for several weeks. Although the office always seemed a bit crazy I had great care.
I would recommend Dr Diaz despite the occasional long wait. After all it usually is life or death that she's dealing with.

I was referred to Dr Diaz by another doctor (family friend) who has sent her hundreds of patients. This doctor spoke to her personally and they were going to get my father into the office for an infection. I spent the morning on the phone making sure all of the information was received. Then, I called and all of a sudden, the receptionist couldn't get me in. I was crying and begging and as I thought we were getting some type of special attention and after waiting all day, they told us to go to the ER. They told us to tell the ER she was the doctor (assuming that then she gets paid). Everyone knows her because she is the "best" and the doctor we saw at the hospital sent her a picture of the infected area but we never spoke to her, saw her, or received any information from her.
I wish I was able to write how great she is. We were discharged from the hospital by them telling us there was no infection. I never mind spending time for good doctors, you cannot find them. This is only my experience and I am still communicating with her through another physician. I am sure this is embarrassing for him too.
Because of this experience, I just had to write this review.

I came to Dr. Diaz office in extreme distress with MRSA. I found her to be kind, compassionate and thorough. They overlooked my bad attitude because they understood i was sick. yes the wait is sometimes long but she is worth it. Dr. Diaz is very thorough. She went to bat for me to find meds I could tolerate and the insurance would pay for. She is well thought of and respected in her industry and was a referral from my ENT. I hope to not have to see an ID again but she would be my first choice.
