Dr. Cruz is an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable. He is young, sweet, has a lot of empathy towards his patients, takes his time, explains everything easy so that you can understand and is passionate for his field. Dr. Cruz makes it easy for anyone to open up. Dr. Cruz is a trustworthy doctor! I’m very happy that I found him. 🙂

His staff is also friendly, especially the girl that takes your vital signs. 🙂

Dr Cruz is a top shelf psychiatrist. If he's by chance seeing new patients run don't walk to get an opportunity to meet him. I have been seeing him for over 10 years. He is the absolute best,caring, mild mannered and more than qualified; He's the best Dr in the world!!

I have been seeing DR. Jose Cruz for approximately fifteen years. I began seeing him in his relatively humble Miami Beach office. He has been my doctor ever since. He is insightful, kind, aware and always accessable.
Most of us under some sort of psychiatric care think of yourselves as the center of the universe or at the very least the most important patient DR. Cruz will ever have. He truly allows you to feel that way when under his care.
There is much the same to be said about his staff as well. Always helpful and patient.
He's the best and well deserving of his impressive position as head of psychiatric medicine at MT. Sinai.

This Dr.’s office is a shambles!!! I booked an intake appointment with Dr. Cruz three weeks prior because he was accepting new patients. I scheduled time off work, I filled out all the pre appointment paperwork and paid the copay. Then the day prior they call to tell me he is not taking new patients, and then tried to place me with a resident. I am making a transition from my previous doctor of 18 years who died of Covid and this is how an organization in this profession operates!! Disgusting. I am moving all of my treatment (cardiology, urology, gastroenterology to a new facility,MSMC can not be trusted.)

Amazing doctors. They really care. Even when a mistake occurred with a prescription, they go out of their way to make sure the patient gets what they need. I appreciate that they have both in person and virtual appointments. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a great psychiatrist in Miami to go here.

I always have a great experience when visiting Dr Cruz' office. There is always a warm reception, and the waiting area is never crowded. I can relax there. My appointment to see the Dr is never long, very little wait time.

I have been seeing Dr. Cruz for over 15 years. I travel from Homestead to Mount Sinai in Miami Beach to see him. He is an awesome Dr. He is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable.
