I haven't been a patient of Dr. Shehata for several years but just out of curiosity I was reading the reviews. When I first started going to him I was given a 7am appt. I was glad to be the first. When I got there he wasn't in yet but there were about 12 other people there. I asked what time their appt was. We all had a 7am appt. There was always a 3-4 hour wait to see the doctor for 5 min. One time I was forgotten in a room. I found a new doctor.

Dr Shehata and his staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! From the beginning of my car accident to recovery they made sure I had everything I needed. I truly feel apart of their family. Am office like this one is EXTREMELY HARD to find in Yuma . Definitely one of yumas best blessings! ?

Dr. Shehata was my doctor for over two years. Although he is a very educated doctor and I have zero doubts about his knowledge, extremely long wait times and very poor sympathy from him made feel like I was never important enough. Unfortunately even if you schedule an appointment with him, it’s still a two hour wait. Walk-ins also take about 3 hours and every single walk in needs to see him before your appointment even matters. Waiting 3 hours on average so he can just kick me out in 5 minutes was horrible, I’m glad that’s over. My other concerns was how easily he hands out prescriptions. I mean I could literally just tell the guy I have back pain and he’s trying load me up on something, thankfully I never took his offer tho. I don’t have the factual reason for his long wait times and rushed consultations but I would bet his greed is the reason he has more patients than he can handle.

For almost 10 years I have been a faithful patient to Dr. Shehata, not only is he an exceptional physician but his staff is truly amazing because they puts their patients first. During my most recent experience, the office staff was kind enough to help get my son into a specialist office that was completely booked as well as pushing my prior authorization through promptly. My wife and I are so grateful to Dr. Shehata and his staff for the excellent care we both receive. We never feel rushed and so appreciate sitting with him and having him take the time to address all our questions and concerns. We've never had a doctor so caring. His staff is amazing too! Friendly and courteous. We were referred by a friend and never hesitate to refer anyone to him. Thank you!

Do NOT come here if you have plans for the rest of the day!!! First time here and it was awful. Waited 2 almost 3 hours! Didn’t see the doctor ended up leaving cause I have other things to do. They took my BP and weight then sent to a room and basically forgot about me. I asked a staff member what’s going on if she could tell me anything and all she said “well I don’t know but I assume your next not sure”. Don’t recommend. The lady’s at the front desk are very nice though I do have to say.

Go up
