Experienced no wait time being called to an exam room once checked in at front desk.
Dr Black came in the room right away, sat down, and took his time asking me questions related to my problem. Reviewed US of abdomen and explained to me the findings of every organ viewed. I never felt he was in a hurry. He examined me and told me what he thought was best going forward. Ordered comprehensive blood work. This is first time I've had a physician see me at my actual appt time. I felt at ease and all the staff are friendly. It’s the cleanest and most efficient ran physicians office I’ve been in the last 20 years.

My visit with Digestive Health Specialist was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Dr. Hewitt was competent, courteous and prompt, which I greatly appreciated. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure I would go through, and made sure I understood and was comfortable with the situation. I am great full that my primary physician referred me to Dr. Hewitt.

I have no complaints him and his nurse practitioner sat down with me for a long time, asking questions and telling me what’s going on and what’s gonna happen. They were both very respectful and understanding. My only complaint would be that it’s going to take so long to be able to get in to get the test done.

Dr. Blacks staff was great and his Nurse Practicer was very good.
Drr. Black wascvery knowledgeable and spent alot of time with me going over different things and what he thought the best treatment plan was to start with to find out what is my exact problem. He took the extra precautions to put me in an outpatient hospital Center setting because of my Heath just in case. He is not expectng any problems. His bedside manner is wonderful. I would definitely highly recommend him to my family and friends.

CRNP Gilmore was very attentive and listened to my history of symptoms along with that days examination. She took the time to explain possible causes of my numerous symptoms and explained the best course of action which dictated several needed tests to get to, isolate, the cause. Very logical and very caring. Highest regards. Labs were taken that very same visit within their office. Excellent service.

I've been using digestive health specialist for over 40 years. I've always been treated with respect and kindness from Dr. Tarwater and Grace Jones and staff. They're not in it for the money but for the betterment of their patients lives and if they can't help you they have no problem finding somebody that can. They truly care about their patients.
