Dial a nurse in Naples works in conjunction with Senior Friendship, an agency that assists seniors in daily living activities. The HHA at Disl A Nurse turned in hours indicating many hours a week at my mother's home, but did not show up for 3 weeks. When speaking with Brenda, she indicating that their GPS system showed the HHA at my mother's home one day from 11 am to 9 pm. Senior Friends was billed for that time along with other fraudulent time periods. Either the HHA is fraudulent or Dial A Nurse is fraudulent and exploiting Senior Friends and government grants. In either case, I am reporting this to state agencies and grant authorities to audit and review for fraud. Unfortunately, a service that has been an amazing help for my family snd my mother for years has all of a sudden becone a burden and fraught with fraudulent reporting of care, leaving my mother with no care and help for over 3 weeks. The only answer given by the authorities in both agencies is that no one would lie rather than looking into it and realizing that something new occured with the new HHA assigned or fraudulent mismanagement. However, this is a highly regulated industry, fortunately. I will report this and stay on it vehemently until many cases are reviewed for this type of problem.
