My husband had an appointment (waited 2 weeks for it); after sitting 45 minutes and listening to other people complain about their wait times and about how the doctor “running behind again” - went to the front desk just to see what the estimated wait time was. He was told at least another hour and a half before he even got called back and that the “doctor was behind.” Absolutely would’ve been great for the staff to have informed him of this before he had to leave work to sit and wait, or a phone call prior to the appointment letting him know to not even bother coming. Zero communication or consideration of the patient. He ended up leaving and seeing no one. This is exactly 2 weeks after a horrendous 5.5 hours of waiting in the ER next door with not a single person checking on him while ill (total time of 7 hours - again, zero communication or consideration of the patient). I’m so sick of the mismanagement and how little Infirmary cares about their patients. It’s a shame.

There may be a lot of bad reviews on here, but for me, I give them a five star. Dr Thead is my doctor, and he’s very sweet, amazing and professional. Yes, sometimes you have to wait, but doctors are busy with a lot of their patients. But the treatment is always very awesome. Dr Thead has been my doctor since I was a child and he still is and always will be my Doctor!

Went to this location on Tue March 28th for a drug test and the nurse (did not get her name) but she had grayish white hair, was extremely rude. I normally have a problem going to the restroom during tests so the day of I drank a whole bottle of cranberry juice and a gallon of water. The nurse was extremely slow calling patients to the back and I really had to go, so I asked the front desk receptionist if I could go to the bathroom, she said if I went I would have to wait to be called back until I could use it again. I attempted to hold it but couldn’t and tried to find the front desk receptionist but was unable to find her so I opened the door and explained to the slow nurse that was administering the exams that I really needed to go and would wait until I’m able to go again to get the test done. The nurse screamed at me and embarrassed me saying that she has never in her life seen a grown man that could not hold his urine . Then with an attitude she administered the test to me. Most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever been through and I wouldn’t be surprised if she did something to my test by the way she acted towards me. I wish I could of had someone else do the test for me but there is a time frame on when the test has to be taken.

Tammy the office manager is what dropped this review down.
Coming in as a new patient and seeing Dr. Toris and her staff was a pleasant experience. She was friendly and efficient. I was excited to be a new patient. They deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately later after my visit I had to call the people who handle referrals which was a very frustrating and unpleasant experience. Melanie who answered the phone was unable to help because they had a certain way of doing things. I asked if she could leave a message for the manager for me so I could see if she was able to help me in this one incident and going forward I would know how they handled referrals. You only have 24 hours to get a referral and after not hearing back I called the manager myself. Tammy answered the phone and after giving her my name she was immediately RUDE. Never did she say I was going to get back to you, she immediately said “I’m not doing you a referral” before even speaking to me. If her hands were tied and there was nothing she could do for me than that is fine. She could have at least listened and said I’m sorry we didn’t give you correct information from the start so that you aren’t in this position to begin with.. but no she cut me off and was extremely rude. She tried to tell me I was lying about the information I was given originally. Having to receive referrals or being sick in the first place is not fun for anyone. I was not calling her for fun, I was calling because I was ill and had been to an urgent care, thought I was following simple instructions to call with the name of the dr. I had seen to get a referral. In no way was I trying to be difficult or go around the system. After speaking to Melanie, going forward in the future I would know to call first. Prior to talking to Melanie that is not what I was told or this would have never been an issue. Considering Tammy is a manager I though she would have better customer service and at least heard what the issue was before cutting me off and being so nasty towards me.

I had a great experience at Northside clinic as usual. Dr.Dixon is always very knowledgeable and Tish his nurse is very sweet and attentive. I've been a patient of theirs for several years and fully recommend to use them not only for Primary care but for emergency-like visits. Waiting time was very little and I was in and out in no time. Glad to still have real doctor offices to go to and get high quality care.

The ONLY reason I’m giving them 1 ⭐️ is so I can review. If your company uses ANY Infirmary site for pre-employment/DOT testing I am soooo sorry!!! These people do not report properly. This is the 3rd time we have had an issue with these people all bc they do not do their job properly. I have begged my husbands employer to STOP using Infirmary Health. I believe this last issue is the one that will do so. These people are incompetent and do not comply with federal law. You’ve been warned. Be careful if you use them!!!

I've been a patient for many years. I feel more like a customer now. I had an appointment this morning 7/14/17 at 9:15am. I showed up at 9:00am. After 2 3/4 hours, I finally got to see the doctor for a whopping 3 minutes.Their office visit cost used to be $60.00. It is now $100.00. Explaining that I no longer had insurance and couldn't afford my diabetic medication, I was given a bag full of one the medications I take and all but 2 small bottles had expired 2 months ago. I feel like ever since Northside merged with or was acquired by Mobile Infirmary that the care about the patient has fallen to the wayside to make room for more customers. I think I'll be looking for another doctor.
