My nose was possibly broken from an attack and I went to this doctor to examine injuries because I could not breath well on one side. He prescribed some nasal spray and didn’t even do an X-ray. Charged over $500 and I still can’t breath any better!

This goes for this hospital and Emeryville, but they will have you waiting for at least 30 mins - 1 hour past your appointment time. Every. single. time. It's very frustrating as I have to do a lot to get to the office, and wait months for an appointment in the first place. All for the doctors to not listen to your concerns and rush you out. Hate it here!

I had such a wonderful experience with Diablo Valley ENT! I was able to schedule my appointment and do the paperwork online. I arrived 10 minutes early and waited no more than 3 minutes before being taken to a room and having my vitals taken. And no more than a minute after that did Dr. Scott come to the room for my appointment. He was thorough, kind, empathetic, on time, and caring. I almost wish I had a reason to go back just so I could see him again! Everyone was professional, kind, and prompt. The office is extremely clean. Cannot recommend them, and especially Dr. Scott, enough!!

I would give 0 star if possible. I am not sure if I need consider them as doctor or as money grabber. My son saw a doctor for at most 10 minutes. Late, they charged us $352 for office visit and $177 for surgery, that is with insurance discount. I guess the doctor has faster hands and can provide 5 minutes surgery!

I love this clinic. The front desk lady was nice and efficient. We got an appointment for dad very quickly. And Dr. Hsieh diagnosed dad and did biopsy the same time. The front desk lady Alyssa also helped us to schedule MRI at John Muir. We got all the diagnosis almost within a week. Dr. Hsieh referred dad a doctor at Standford health center Palo Alto immediately. But unfortunately, we never get a call from the referring doctor. Thank you Diablo Valley ENT team anyway!

From email confirmation made days in advance:

"Our clinic staff will verify the insurance you provided. If there are any problems with your insurance, we will attempt to contact you for additional information. If your insurance benefits do not cover your visit, you will be asked to sign a Patient Acceptance of Financial Responsibility form upon arrival and submit payment at the time of service."

I show up for appointment and am told they don't take my insurance. I ask to just pay out of pocket since I am already here and just want a consultation. The answer is again no. Taking time off on a workday is inconvenient enough without it being wasted.

Office sucks. They want me to run around on the phone to see if im in network, and get them my deductible information. Every appt I ever made, they get my insurance information and know right away. I'm in the union and it's a pain getting all that done. No problem. Found another doctor who took my info and knew right away and scheduled an appointment for me.
