Rude and unprofessional to start with. I've seen him about 4 times to deal with my skin disorder. One of the first times I saw him I asked a question. He said "Look, I told you that twice already" He was in such a hurry to get out of the treatment room I had to call him back twice to answer my questions. I had forgot to cancel an appointment. He called me personally and left me a message. I called him back and he answered the phone "Hello" without addressing himself. I said is this Dr Chen's office? (I didn't remember his name) There was a pause. "DR CHIUUUU!!!" He said. I told him I was sorry I didn't cancel the appointment. I started a new job on the same day. He told me if I didn't come today at a later time he would charge me $150 for a cancelled appointment. He added that a patient of his with the same disorder I have recently died. "It was under control but it took a turn for the worse" he said. Although I wanted to reschedule I didn't want to incur a fee. So I kept the later appointment. I will never use this doctor's services. Dr. Chiu needs more practice in practicing medicine

Years ago he was fantastic, but about the time covid started he started imagining my wife & I needed stuff removed from our faces by his can of nitrogen that he used as a weapon, even when we insisted absolutely now way. Apparently his Mercedes payments and alimony payments drove him to using his nitrogen can as a weapon. I will add my statement to help him lose his license, practice, Mercedes and anything else that the mental patient needs to do to protect the public, his patients & his staff. Sorry a great man lost it.

I have never been more upset. This dermatologist gave no concern about my conditions to begin with. He called me at a late time of the day to talk to me about setting a appointment. When I began to mention my skin conditions, he rudely said that he didn't want to hear my long list of conditions, and I only have gave him two. He didn't let me address my concerns, and I didn't feel like he cared to hear me out. He kept cutting me off as I spoke, and accused me of being argumentative. The only thing I am happy about, is that he showed me his behavior before actually goin in as a patient.

I am in Georgia and get an alert that my husband's debit card has been used in this office today. Looked up the phone number and have called twice. You cannot get anyone on the phone. Best believe fraud charges will be filed with our bank.

Doctor Chui and his staff are friendly, professional, efficient and do a great job of explaining things. He always answers all my questions completely, and looks at every item of current and past concern. I switched to him after Dr. Beer and staff made a mistake causing me to go to emergency because of drug interactions. Doctor Chui has always been clear about his diagnosis, and how we will take care of the problem. Has even made suggestions about better hats to prevent my recurring skin problems. His billing to my insurance has been correct every time for the 5+ years I have been seeing him. The doctor and his staff are absolutely fantastic.

I have always had great experiences at Diablo Dermatology. I met Doctor Chiu over four years ago and we became good friends from the start. It's always good to go there because the people are professional and efficient. My wife had her first appointment a couple of weeks ago and now she knows way I always come home from here in a great mood.

Called to make an appointment. I was told that due to who my primary care physician was, that they would not be able to accommodate me. Why would who my PCP is have any reflection on me getting an appointment. Seems like a very narrow and bias view and disappointed I was treated this way as a patient.

Dr. Chiu has been seeing me and my girls for years. He is very thorough but is hard to talk to which can be uncomfortable because he never makes eye contact. Sometimes the appointment feels rushed. When there was a problem with insurance for me and a rejection of a payment of under $150 he denied seeing my girls after their pediatrician referred them to him for something else. I thought it was so unprofessional and rude. I think it's only fair that I rate him a 4 because he does have an eagle eye and attacks the problem(s) but as far as professionalism, it sucks and I would rate that a 1 or less. He lost 3 patients over $150.00. Really? Come on now. Now I had to take my girls to another doctor and start all over and get reestablished.
