I keep receiving a bill from this location even though they have not properly filed with my insurance. I have called my insurance each time I receive a bill, and every single time they have said they haven’t received anything from Destin Regional Imaging Center, nor is it showing up on my claims. My son went in for a routine ER visit, my insurance covers practically everything, and I pay a flat fee. The bill they keep sending me, for an ultrasound, is COVERED under my insurance & under the ER visit. They have not filed things properly, nor do I believe they intend to do so! Beyond frustrated.

They will not correct the coding for my bill for my insurance company. I’ve called multiple times and each time they say they will correct and they never do. A mammogram is covered under my insurance and until coding is fixed insurance can’t pay for this annual wellness. I ended up paying this and will have to argue for reimbursement.Will never use again

Great team up front but the back staff is slow and I had to leave after an hour wait for a 5 minute Xray (X-rays are every month after neck surgery). I tell people to go to watersound if possible.

Update: these guys have been unable to successfully bill my insurance for over 2 years (!!!) for a standard mammogram. How is this even possible?!

Do not get anything done with these people! They double bill and then never answer phones or emails! I hate the healthcare industry.

I received a bill for services due after insurance paid their portion. I wrote a check to pay the full amount. The check cleared my bank. Several weeks later, I received a bill with the original amount outstanding plus a fee for a bounced check, even though the check did not bounce.

UPDATE: I was contacted by someone from their business office. The lady was very nice. After sending a copy of the cleared check, the matter has been resolved.

I have tried for over a year to get billing done correctly to my insurance company. I agree with the other review, don't get anything done with these people. We don't use Sacred Heart anymore because of Destin Regional Imaging:
