Dr. Steiger’s office & the Sweet Success program are a joke!
Took them a month of appointments to even get insulin prescribed. Came to three appointments only to have them take copies of the book they give you to log meals and numbers only to be told do better with the diet and got sent home. Mind you I’m coming 40 mins away guess that’s not something an e-mail and phone call could address. Finally got in the see Dr. Steiger for an ultrasound to have the tech be extremely rough and rude through the whole thing. He looked at my meter and finally scheduled a diabetic consult after 5 weeks at this point. I missed the appointment and when I called to reschedule I was told I couldn’t be rescheduled because he was retiring next month. What a waste of my time why take on new clients if you can’t see it through with them to the end of pregnancy?
They create unnecessary appointments to bill insurance because I only saw the dr once and it wasn’t even for the diabetes which was the whole reason for the referral. The receptionist is a sweetheart so that’s why I gave the star I did but outside of that don’t waste your time find a Dr that actually cares. Wouldn’t recommend.

Dr. Steiger is awesome! I have been a patient of his for my last two pregnancies and I wouldnt want any other physician!!! He knows his stuff and when he tells you not to worry...I dont because I know he cares about my unborn baby just as much as I do. His office help Jackie is awesome too and works miracles to get you seen when its best for you. Thanks team and I am glad I all of you again in this pregnancy! 🙂

Crowded Emergency room inside, intact my husband didn't have his own ER "room" but was on a bed in the hallway because so many people there, but the nurses are amazing! Outsise the ER they made a whole trailer of chairs and water and tv for family to wait to see their loved ones. The staff was very helpful to me. Have had procedures inside the main hospital such as a sonogram and they are wonderful with the top of the line equipment! Wonderful hospital!

As far as Dr. Steiger (maturnity specialist) goes... Would not recommend to any expecting mother. Tried expressing my concerns with thyroid and heart issues and ended up being laughed at and told I need new doctors. That was the first and last time

Rude staff, extremely long wait times, confusing construction. When it comes to care this facility is the worst. I wish there was a good medical facility in palm spring but there is not.
