The front desk lady I talked to this afternoon was rude and short . Dr Pouriza needs to retire. He has the bedside manner of a billygoat. Got mad at me for going to ER , when a 24/7 nurse advisor called because I wouldn't. He blamed Desert Regional Hospital for not doing a repeat test I had in his office 6 days before . He is rude and crude to his staff , in front of patients. No wonder his desk people are rude . I just asked to change to Dr Rao , who I thought I had an appointment with today , but the front desk lady was absolutely no help and stated " once you get a new doctor, tell us and we'll send over your records " . Unfortunately I have to keep going to this office, but at least now I get to see Dr . Rao , only after calling my case worker . I still have to deal with the staff , which makes me an unhappy patient 🤯😡😡😡. Now it's 2 days before a scheduled colonoscopy, they were supposed to call me 4 days ago to let me know which of my heart medications to stop . I still have not heard from them , and I had to call 3 different locations, to leave a message with the only person who can give me an answer . I'll have to cancel the appointment in 2 days, because I know that I should stop Plavix at least 3 days prior, preferably 5 days depending on my health. My health is not so great , and I have ALL the stuff for prep and diet for the 2 days before. What a pathetic operation, I thought Dr. Rao would be different, but still the same .Rude staff also .

I want to hit no star but don't have that option. Office personnel are rude and often slam the phone down in mid-confersation. This has happened numerous to not only myself but others. The person is a female who won't give out her name.

Dr. Sherman was a bigger disappointment. I am very ill and this Doctor never relayed any serious test results nor returned calls. He missed serious heart problems and never even requested tests taken at the Emergency centers I was rushed to. I hear he is leaving and pray he is retiring. I cannot say or warn anyone considering seeing him or using his practice. He may be relocating to Lancaster but from this review I will be contacting lawyers. He should have his license removed....long ago. I am seriously compromised due to his lack of checking my tests or even responding to emergency calls. I have never had to write such a serious report....I can only tell anyone with an appointment to cancel it at once!!!

Let's see if this get posted? On Aug 14, 2018 at 1030am my Husband had a appointment with Dr. Shermen. He was not only unprofessional , but extremely Rude. And wanted to change my husband's heart medication without even reviewing his past medical history from his former ep cardiologist. He wrote a post and sure enough, it was never posted. I feel if this doctor did not want to see my husband for a consult, he should have said so and we would not of wasted either of our time. I have notified my husband's HMO and our family attorney concerning this matter. Let's see if this get's posted.

Scheduled an appointment mid December was given an appointment for early January. I’ve had them reschedule it a total of 4-5 times sometimes on the day of even hours prior. Today was rescheduled this morning for a later afternoon time and then they cancelled 30 min prior to appointment time and are now booked until February. Don’t waste your time with these people. Maybe you’ll get to see one of the doctors when you end up in the ER.

First time seeing Dr. Jon Sherman. I am very impressed. He took the time to answer all questions & gave me much needed advice concerning my health and heart. He is a very caring Dr. With great knowledge. Will recommend him to everyone needing a heart doctor.
