One of my dreaded things about relocating is finding a new doctor but I count myself very lucky to have found Dr. Bowling at DB MD.

He and his staff, Steve and Travis, makes their office what a doctor's office was meant to be. Caring, kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding, uses common sense and takes the time needed to listen to any and all concerns you may have.

They are easily accessible when you need them, via their portal, phone or otherwise and in my experience, has promptly responded, usually within the same business day, or by the next.

Steve, at the front desk, has gone above and beyond to help me sort out the maze we call insurance, prior to my visit, to make sure my coverage is what it should be before I incur any surprise costs, vs the other way around, like past experiences I’ve had with other offices, and Travis carefully takes the time to do your intake and get accurate vitals for the Dr, as well as triage all of your concerns for Dr. Bowling. You don’t feel like you’re being rushed through an assembly line.

Dr. Bowling and his staff truly keeps your best interest forefront and he doesn't just throw prescriptions or procedures at an issue. He also makes sure any prescription you may need will be the most economical options available for you.. He even considers homeopathic alternatives to Rx, if the situation warrants it.

I also appreciate the laid-back atmosphere, vs the rush and craziness of most offices. Although I've only seen him for a short time, I already feel very comfortable with him and it seems like I've known him and his staff for years. I'm really glad I found Dr. Bowling/DB MD and cannot recommend this practice enough to anyone, whether you just relocated and need a new doctor or you’re just ready for a refreshing change.

I think most of us have just accepted how most doctor's offices have become but Dr. Bowling proves it doesn't have to be that way.

Go there and you’ll feel like family.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Made an appointment to re-establish a new PCP since my previous doctor was too far away. I was seeing my previous doctor monthly, and each time would be in the waiting room for an hour minimum. Which I feel like is an issue for many people and why they put off making appointments with their doctors. Dr. Bowling and his front staff take excellent care of you from the minute you walk in!! The office is extremely clean and beautiful! He takes his time with you but also values your time and makes sure to see you on your scheduled time. The patient portal is easy to use and if you need anything they respond right away! This office deserves this review because GREAT doctors, that actually care, are hard to find.

My husband and I recently relocated back to FL (from CA) and were worried about a drop in the quality of our primary care and in the experience i.e. no longer having access to a practice with online medical records, doctor and office admin messaging, easily paying bills online, etc. But with some research on Google and my insurance provider search, we are SO GRATEFUL to have come across Dr.Bowling's office. Our initial appointments were extremely thorough, Derrick took the time to learn our medical histories and to listen to any top of mind concerns before the exam. They offer a variety of services beyond primary care which is an added bonus and allows me to knock out multiple appointments in one.

They can do much of the lab work there and have recommended providers for needs beyond their practice. Everyone on the team (Jeovanna, Travis and Steve) have all been super kind and helpful and all, including Dr.Bowling, accessible via the online Patient Portal in a timely manner.

Will absolutely be recommending others establish their primary care w/ Dr.Bowling.

If you are looking for a new Primary Care Physician, look no further than Dr. Derrick Bowling. His practice is amazing from the office staff, attending nurse, to the expert care that Dr. Bowling himself provides. The office is conveniently located to Wilton Manors, Oakland Park & Fort Lauderdale with tons of parking as well as a bright, safe office environment. What an amazing resource to have available in the community.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Bowling as a new patient for an annual check up. I was a bit early for my appointment, however Steve at the front reception desk was amazing and got the nurse to take me back in just a short time and then after that I went in with Dr. Bowling. He spent more time with me than any other doctor I’ve ever seen in the past, and I’m 50 years old. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my health and well being, which showed me that he loves his job. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a doctor that actually cares about their patients. (By the way I noticed that the entire office was new and spotless, which was another plus) I left my other doctor because when I arrived on time for my appointment, I would still have to wait a minimum of another hour before I would actually be seen, and this happened every single visit. When the doctor finally got there he spent five minutes with me and was always very cranky and short with me. Every single time I ever had to call my previous doctor’s office no one ever answered the phone, ever! I was definitely just a number in that office, so I feel like I found my own personal doctor in a small town with Dr Bowling and his awesome staff...thank you guys!

I went in for some lab work and it was an amazing experience and place. Super clean, Super clean office, the staff in the front are really nice. Steve and Giovanna are really pleasant to speak to and very informative. Mr. Litz, very professional and makes you super comfortable when talking to you and drawling blood. Listens to you attentively answers all your questions. The atmosphere since you walk in until you walk out is welcoming and will definitely tell my loved one’s know about Dr. Bowling and his team!
