My family and I have been going to this practice since 2018. Never had a problem. The doctors are amazing and kind. The staff is super knowledgeable and patient. Love that this office is tech savvy, and I can do most things in an app or text. You don’t have to spend time talking on the phone. Will hopefully keep going to this office, but at least there’s also an Oakland office if I’m ever in need.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Jason Wang at Dermatology Center of East Bay. Despite paying a $50 copay through the app, I was told I needed to pay again upon arrival due to an ‘error.’ My 11:20 AM appointment ran late, with no communication from the staff. Dr. Wang’s bedside manner was off putting he and the assistant appeared visibly uncomfortable examining my eczema, making me feel judged. When I explained my treatment history, Dr. Wang seemed annoyed, dismissive, and even checked his phone multiple times. He provided minimal guidance on my treatment plan and didn’t offer a clear follow-up schedule. Overall, the lack of professionalism and empathy was disheartening, and I would not recommend this clinic or Dr. Wang.

For as much as this practice charges for a 10 or 15 minute consult, they don’t pick up the phone.
And they push the work onto PAs, although my PA was lovely and very capable. It’s just frustrating the way medicine has evolved.

But I mean they don’t pick up the phone at all. Not in Lafayette. Not in Oakland. You’ll get a lengthy long winded voicemail and push buttons, and then be asked to leave a message and don’t hold your breath.

I’m trying to get them an image of my new Medicare gap coverage card, so I don’t get short changed when they process my claim. What little I help I will get any way feom Medicare. But they have no email and no fax number posted on their website that I can find and no way to get them this information.

When Dr. Billings ran this practice you could communicate. That’s way more than I can say for the new regime of a host of high paid cosmetic physicians.
