Stumbled across this incredible gem unintentionally while looking for another restaurant and it was the best thing that could have happened. Super friendly staff and incredible food! I had the chickpea avocado wrap, roasted potatoes, and a smoothie. All of it was 10/10, very fresh, and full of flavor. Didn’t get any dessert, but everything they had looked incredible. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

This food was unbelievable. Fresh produce, authentic flavors, great portions and yet vegetarian(and vegan) friendly! I was so so psyched to find this place in Mt. Dora. I had a Black Bean Burrito, it was crazy delicious.

After a 3 1/2 hour drive to Mount Dora, we were super hungry and wanted to have a quick lunch before exploring the downtown. This restaurant was perfect. Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend!

We got the jackfruit quesadilla, spinach & cheese empanada, meatless empanada, & corn empanada. All vegan. We loved all of it ! I especially loved the meatless empanada & my boyfriend's favorite was hands down the quesadilla! Carlos the owner was soooo sweet & took care of us very well. We enjoyed talking to him, the food was amazing, & we would highly recommend.

We had an amazing visit to Dark & Light Cafe. The food was delicious! We were surprised to find this hidden gem full of vegetarian and vegan options, including yummy desserts. We ordered the avocado wrap, a burrito, the yuca bites, the vegan brownie, and a fruit smoothie. All the side sauces were also tasty. This is a family owned cafe and the vibe is so cute, highly recommend!

Overall excellent experience, very nice people. Great vegan flavors. Tucked away in a cute little mixed use spot. Fair prices. Beautiful presentation. You absolutely have to go here, whether you’re vegan or not.

Breakfast all day. Entire menu looks great. Would be a fantastic brunch option.
