This evening at approximately 8:15pm I was denied service for no apparent reason other than the clerk wanted to chit-chat with the customer ahead of me in line.

I was the only other customer in line and standing patiently and politely, socially distanced, minding my own business more or less in my own little world headspace which is typical for me. It had been a long day of errands and chores and this was last thing I had to accomplish before I went home.

While standing there the clerk interrupted his own conversation with the customer ahead of me to alert me to the option to self check out and I indicated I would prefer not to do that. For a couple reasons I do not like self-checkout, the two most relevant in advance in this case being among my items was a beer and secondly I almost 100% of the time avoid self-checkout as a means of supporting workers over robots/AI replacing them.

He then indicated I would HAVE TO use self checkout because he refused to assist me.

Of course I run into the hassle of waiting for him to assist because I had an age-restricted item and then on top of that there was only 1 plastic bag available and I very obviously had more items than would fit into 1 plastic bag. He flippantly mentions "oh I guess we need more bags over here"....Luckily I had a bag because I had done laundry earlier in the day and relying on Uber presently I just threw my items in with the laundry and left because his conversation with the other customer was of such import it was obvious the extra at least 1 bag I needed wasn't coming.

I come to this CVS because of its proximity to the Library which I often frequent but I will do so no longer until I am assured by management that necessary steps are taken to enhance this very obvious failure in customer service.

Picking and choosing which customers you want to assist and forcing others to do self-checkout should be a crime. I find it very shameful and it was, in fact of how it occurred, very embarrassing. If I'm going to drop $50+ in your establishment I should have the option for service if that is my need and preference.

Went between 5-5:15am for the convenience that they were 24 hours and close to home. Desperately needed batteries for my daughter’s medical machine. Price listed on the app for Alkaline CVS brand D batteries was $12.49. Price jumped to $17 plus tax. Alerted the young lady working and she said the price couldn’t be honored. Went completely out of my price range. Everyone doesn’t have an extra dollar to stretch sometimes.

Paige, the pharmacist and Fionna, the pharm tech went way above and beyond for my husband. I really appreciate them both.

The manager Johnathan was very pushy with me in trying to get me to sign up for the Extra Care card.

Honestly really disappointed. I came into the pharmacy needing a shot urgently and the pharmacy technician told me she didn't have time for me. Went across the street to Walgreens and they were actual medical professionals who helped me out. Will be transferring all my prescriptions out of this pharmacy and will never return... food for thought. This place is just a pill dispenser.

The cashier was so rude. She refused to accept my coupons because she was not familiar with the store's coupon policy regarding coupon overages. (However, I should have not been in such a hurry and presented her with a copy of the policy in an effort to rectify the situation, thus the 3 star instead of 2 star rating.) She seemed frustrated that I chose not to purchase my items when she wouldn't honor the coupons. Store is clean and very nice, but the customer service was awful!

The best service around. As a student I appreciate every bit of cash I can save here and there. I came in and was paying over $100 for my prescriptions and that did not sit right with their team of pharmacy staff. So, they took an extra couple of minutes of their shift to go over why I was paying so much and got by total down to $40. Now that is customer service!

Never went to the pharmacy but I have been several times just to pick up a few things. I love the store layout and friendliness of the cashiers. A great place to go to pick up over the counter meds, college supplies, or any other small items. Definitely saved me with them being open 24 hours when everywhere else is closed at night.
