They canceled 2 appointments; one I had scheduled 3 months in advance due to the Dr. being out of the office and another appointment on the day of my video call with a PA, (so I was told) but she is a NP. To their credit, (which isn’t much!) they rescheduled my video call for later in the day with Noe Lopez, NP.

Noe Lopez told me, the visit was going to be recorded. He IMMEDIATELY had a cocky attitude! He was unprofessional, crass, and gave off the vibe of being accusatory!! (From a firsthand source, he’s both unprofessional and cocky in general!)

I moved back to California in 2022, I live in Bakersfield; I have family that live in the Fontana/San Bernardino area. I asked a family member if they know a good Dr there because I wasn’t comfortable with the doctors here due to their poor reviews. I was referred to Dr. Smart, (personal doctor of a family member!) How wonderful!!…when I make the 3 hour drive to see the doctor, I can visit and spend time with my family.

I’m 62 and have NEVER had such a horrible experience with a healthcare worker in my life as I did with Noe Lopez! (Many doctor visits with my 3 children over the years.)

#1…He is unprofessional, cocky, and crass.

#2…He made me feel I was doctor shopping for pain medication. A medication Dr. Smart is aware I have been on for years.

#3…He wouldn’t fax a lab prescription to a lab here in Bakersfield because ā€œthey weren’t affiliated with themā€, but he would mail the prescription to me. (So now I have to wait for it to come in the mail!)

Noe Lopez went as far as to tell me…I need to find a doctor here in Bakersfield!! That’s NOT for him to decide or even suggest!!! In fairness, (which he doesn’t deserves!!) my situation may have appeared suspicious, but Noe Lopez handled the visit in an unprofessional and crass manner! He shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions and/or judged me…insinuating and giving me the vibe I was doctor shopping for drugs.

Noe Lopez should be fired, he gives Cucamonga Medical Group a horrible reputation!!

I was scheduled because they said I needed my physical. When I arrived I was charged a copay and doctor was confused as to why I was set up for physical. So disappointed as I’ve been having to advocate for myself n got my own meds. Now I drove all this way for nothing n give them another 30$ what a major disappointment. If it wasn’t because I have ppo my health would of deteriorated and I would of ended up in the 5150 psych hold. It just sucks I’ve been doing many labs and in the end I fixed it by hopping around doctors till I received proper treatment. I feel 1000 times better and thanks to my hopping around. Now who do I send my bill Aetna, I need a code . I got myself the treatment needed as my insurance didn’t want to pay for my meds & I got myself healed!

They screwed up my FMLA by sending my docs to a completely random doctor at another city that I’ve never heard of, this doctor was not aware of my mom’s condition, therefore my FMLA was immediately rejected, this action by this clinic puts me at risk of losing my job. Their staff is rude and inconsiderate that takes no accountability.

The Dr's and Nurses (that attend to you in the room) are great. The front desk people not so; check your paperwork. There's always mistakes with paperwork; wrong info on it.

If I could leave a review less than one star I would. I’m so saddened and angry. I made a new patient appointment FOUR MONTHS ago. Today I get a text from the office saying my appointment is canceled. When I called back they said that Mr. Toole won’t be in the office today anymore. Not even the person i originally tried making an appointment with. Okay…. So you’re not able to give me another doctor to fill in my appointment? The lady on the phone was not helpful what so ever and was rude. This practice does not care for their patients. So after waiting 4 months I made another appointment out two months from now. If I’m still alive by then. šŸ‘šŸ½

I've stayed with this practice for over 5 years because of one doctor, Kimberly Bekemeier. She's the only doctor in this practice that treats patients with respect. I've put off finding new doctors but I can't anymore. After being yelled at and denigrated by the male doctors in this practice I have had enough.
Beyond this, the staff treats me like I do not matter. Not one person in this practice cares about patients as more than dollar signs. Tired of being treated like a drug seeker when I am literally allergic to every opiate and just want help from medical professionals.

I’ve seen two doctors here (Kyle Smart and Kimberly Bekemeier). I also have seen Jackeline Lopez PA-C. Dr. Smart is kind and thorough and ordered a bunch of tests for me based on my concerns (which I am not complaining about) but I did not get a sense of real compassion. It did seem like I was just another time slot and there was no real follow up care from him. He did not even remember the things we discussed from a previous appt and I had to refresh his memory (which still didn’t help him). He no longer goes to Eastvale so I was on a search to find another doctor with the group in Eastvale. Due to Dr. Smarts unavailability I needed to speak with someone emergent regarding my diabetes and was set up with an appt. With Dr. Bekemeier. She was wonderful!! I have nothing but great things to say about her. She is smart, compassionate and actually cares about your concerns. She’s been great but unfortunately is a bit far for me to see on a daily basis. I then had an appt set up with a different doctor. I still had a lot of questions about my diabetes and had bloodwork performed so I was anticipating this appt. Well, the morning of this appt the staff called to tell me that they had to cancel my appt. I asked for them to reschedule me and they stated they had nothing until a few months out. After a lot of push back I was able to find an appt with Jackeline Lopez, PA-C in Fontana. I was a little annoyed by the drive but agreed and asked if the staff would waive my co-pay considering I would have to drive all the way to Fontana. The gal on the phone said I would have to speak with the clinic but it shouldn’t be a problem. I mean after all, this office send you a text message and calls you before the appt to tell you if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appt you’ll be receiving a fee of $50. I feel like they should at least take care of their patients in the same way with respect to their time and the distance they have to drive due to their cancelations. Anyway, I saw Jackie Lopez and she was fine. I she did confirm that she does receive complaints about Dr. Smart and how she gets patients saying he’s never available. So she started me on medication. I then have tried to reach out to her to adjust my meds as I know they are not being adjusted properly based on my care plan and instead of listening to my concerns she made me feel as though I was not caring for myself the way I should. I take my health seriously and have made significant changes to my lifestyle and even telling her that she made me feel as though I wasn’t doing enough and need to be better. I’ve never had to advocate for myself in such a way. She made me feel less than. She treated me like a bully. I will no long be seeing her after this. I will stick to setting my appts with Dr. Bekemeir in the meantime.
