My aging mother, who is living with Parkinson's disease required a same-day procedure in the OR and upon arrival there were no wheelchairs to be found and nobody really stepping up to find one. Rita (an ER nurse who happened to be nearby) made it her personal business to ensure we were taken care of with the highest of professionalism and care. She took control of the situation and ensured it's positive outcome even though it wasn't her responsibility to do so. I'm extensively familiar with hospital operations at all levels (many years of experience) and I know exactly what the difference between average and superior patient care looks (and feels) like. Rita exemplified the 'I-will-handle-it' spirit and represented both the ER and the entire Davies campus with superior style and grace. Thank you Rita.

First time at the ICU,ER for anything, and the experience went by so quickly and smoothly I was surprised.

I came in for serotonin syndrome and was seen and treated immediately. The nurses were the absolute highlight of my stay there. Duke, Petra, Kelly, Liz, Patty and Helise were all amazing. I was assisted very quickly every time I pressed the call button.
Petra talked to me about nurse experience since I’ve been considering the medical field, and Kelly let me talk her ear off about video games. 😂

The cleaning staff was excellent too and even helped me move one time even though they are not part of the nursing staff. They also provided 3 meals a day which were quite good (I just didn’t have much of an appetite due to my syndrome.)

I was able to be released in about 3 days which I was grateful for such a quick response. They provided me with a packet of follow up information and specialists to see after discharge. Overall it was a quite pleasant experience and I just wanted to make a shout out to all the wonderful employees who helped me!

Had a pretty big procedure on Monday. The surgeons and their associates are great! However the nurses are rude and have an attitude for reason. Similar to fast food workers who just don’t want to be there. Especially being happy and nervous about your journey it gives a bad vibe where you’re not happy and just want to go home. Not really for someone who got mental health

Re: ER Services. We first went to another hospital nearby and the receptionist told us unsympathetically and almost sarcastically that it would be a “nice little wait of 2 hours plus.” The waiting room was dark and sad. While my wife checked in I immediately called CPMC Davis and an actual friendly human picked up. He said they would see us in minutes. We cancelled the registration and drove here. We arrived and encountered great fast customer service. We waited about 5 minutes to be seen and the waiting room doesn’t look like a mortuary.

This CPMC Davies Campus offers the best Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.
Tiffany Tang (Occupational Therapist) is professional and has deep knowledge in this medical field. She is passionate, patient and listens thoroughly to my medical issues.
She is amazing as she helped me tremendously by teaching me how to use my hands to reduce the pains. she is creative with various exercises.
Jason is a very good therapist and listens to all the issues as well. Both therapist are the best I've had and will continue seeking their help.
I could give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you!

This review is specifically for my ER Nurse, Ashley. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Ashley during a recent visit to the ER, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care she provided. Ashley went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire process, even though the ER was very busy.

Her kindness, compassion, and professionalism truly made a difference in my experience, and I am so grateful for her help. Ashley took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and provide me with the care I needed.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ashley for everything she did to make my visit to the ER a little easier. Her dedication to her patients and commitment to providing quality care is truly admirable, and I feel lucky to have had her as my nurse. If you are ever in need of medical attention, I highly recommend seeking Ashley's care.

I am writing to commend an outstanding member of your team. Immediately following my wife's cancer surgery, Mr. Devon Simmons, a highly professional security guard, provided excellent customer service in facilitating my post-surgery visit to my wife. Not only was it a difficult time which he handled extremely sensitively and compassionately; in addition, there were a number of logistical issues which he helped us navigate and work through. Most importantly, my wife's surgery was a complete success -- but in addition, Mr. Simmons' exemplary attitude made the situation as smooth as it could possible be given the circumstances. CPMC should be commended for having such excellent personnel on staff. Thank you kindly.
