I brought my son in because he was having bad stomach pains. They tested him for the flu (negative) and I was told there was nothing more they could do and to go to the emergency room if they continued because they didn't have the equipment to see if anything was wrong in his stomach... totally understandable. Then I was billed $494.00!!! I tried to fight the cost and was told the billing department couldn't assist in the charges and to call the Ventura location directly. I called 4 times over 4 months and was told someone would call me back. No one ever called back and then I received notice that they were sending me to collections! I finally put though the request for a review from their billing department, who said it was being reviewed and someone would call back. AGAIN NO ONE CALLED BACK. This has been going on since February (6 months!) and I just called to find out it was actually reviewed and "the bill is accurate" and there is nothing they can do. $494 for absolutely nothing!! I'll definitely never come back here. Also, the wait was just under 2 hours for the appointment as well... So a heads up there too. Good luck if you choose to go here.

Clean and modern facility with excellent customer service and care. The Nurse Practitioner was thorough and knowledgeable, providing knowledge of my child’s condition and reassurance. Entire staff was cheerful, made us laugh many times, you can tell they love their jobs and helping people! We will definitely return if the need arises!

We took my daughter in after being stung by a sting ray, she had a deep laceration on her foot. The NP, nurses and staff were incredible. Not only did they do a great job taking care of my daughters medical needs, but they were so caring and sensitive to her nervousness about getting stitches. They went above and beyond to turn a potentially bad experience into a positive one for my child. This is a top notch facility and I was truly impressed by the care we received.

This Urgent Care site has good signage, is well lit and laid out, and has engaging and friendly staff. Their NP is top notch and provided excellent and thorough care to my very ill wife. We left w/a thoughtful tx plan and clear instructions on the use of the prescribed medication.
We arrived in mid-morning as walk-ins which I would advise against. Cottage prioritizes its scheduled patients over all walk-ins and as there is only one practitioner, we experienced a wait time of 1-2 hours. The scheduling tool is easy to navigate and quick to complete.

I went in to get my shoulder / collarbone checked out / x-rayed after a minor car accident. I was told that Cottage, "would prefer not to get involved." They didn't even take my vitals, told me I had to go to the ER, and showed me out. I would say I didn't like the way they treated me, but they completely refused to treat me at all.

The best, most professional experience. I’ve visited twice and both times the care was excellent. I scheduled an online appointment the night before and got it first thing the next morning. I was seen & picked up RX at nearby pharmacy within 45 minutes. The facility is very clean. Thank you for providing excellent care to the community.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in healthcare, I needed an x-ray and was in and out of the facility in about an hour. Alison, the attending PA was such a pro as well as the rest of the staff. I wish I had one of these in Marin
