I had an old crown replaced with a new one and must say the experience was pleasant and handled very professionally. The one thing that bothered me was when I asked how the rest of my teeth and gums were doing it was obvious that some type of protocol due to liability was in place that only allowed the dentist to comment on the work he was performing because even though the dentist had been looking in my mouth for the last hour, he said he didn’t notice any of the other teeth or gums.
I have had an architectural firm in San Diego for over 40 years doing high end condos many in Coronado and understand liability due to frivolous lawsuits in our litigious state of California. I would have been more comfortable if I was just treated honestly.

Dr Phillips and his staff are awesome! I’ve been a patient here for a couple of years now. I always feel comfortable and well taken care of. I had an old filling come out on Sunday night and they worked me in Monday morning to fix it, during Thanksgiving week! As someone who is often nervous at the dentist, I’m always at ease here. Dr Phillips explains exactly what he’s doing with each step so I know what to expect. Highly, highly recommended.
