I wanted to leave a review after the entire process of my pregnancy was completed. Dr. Cantero is highly skilled. I saw some reviews saying “he doesn’t talk much or go through things with first time parents” and as a first time mom, I understand that, he’s a man of few words. But when you’re on that delivery bed, fully dilated, with baby on the way there’s no time for chatting or questions. My delivery was smooth, no issues, and most importantly I trusted him with my well being and my daughter. I highly recommend him for any pregnancy as he’s straight to the point, trustworthy, and very knowledgeable. He will honor what you request and has very calm energy which I wanted that energy my newborn to be born into.

Where to start . This was my first pregnancy and I choose Dr. Cantero as my OBGYN. That was the biggest mistake I made , not trusting my guts. During my ultra sound , Dr. Cantero was such in a rush and not paying attention to my file failed to notice I was carrying TWINS. Imagine getting an ultra sound and the Dr tells you everything is fine . You tell him what do you mean everything is fine ? Where is twin B. For him to tell you “ oh you having twins ? Let me check.” LIKE WHAT DO YOU MEAN ? Why did I have to remind you I’m having twins when you are my Dr.? Why did I have to panic for you to realize it’s two babies ? Dr. Victor Cantero and his staff have made sure to make the process of having another baby so memorable. Dr. Cantero makes sure to make you feel completely comfortable and heard at all times. He takes your concerns seriously and foes above and beyond to make sure you have the most of your care as possible. His staff, including Jennifer and Michelle, is always welcoming and accommodating.

Highly recommend Dr. Cantero’s office to any women looking for care.

I was dismissed for missing an appointment due to my child being sick. Now I’m 31 weeks pregnant, unable to find care, and I’m high risk. It was careless for them to do but other than that, the front desk staff is nice and friendly. Never really seen Dr. Cantero much himself but I loved the ultrasound tech, she was very friendly and patient. Wish I could’ve continued care with them but obviously they’re incapable of doing so!

After 13 years of visiting Victor Cantero as our daughters birth control doctor, and my wife’s OBGYN, the main issue with this practice has been some of the staff, which sadly undermines the hard work of having a private practice. It is not the first time my wife has been neglected of her time and proper orders for tests, under a really busy work schedule she books her Dr. appointments and screenings with anticipation of months, especially when she needs to be checked out constantly. Today was another of those days where she was requested to perform an ultrasound and was set to perform it at another place due the lack of on site services, and the request was not sent properly. It took about 6 months to do this appointment for the screening and again, Dr. Cantero’s staff didn’t do their job properly. We’re absolutely concerned about my wife’s not getting screened ON TIME after “something” showed up on past exams, and it’s the only Guilt of the staff of Victor Cantero if my wife’s condition worsens due a malpractice delaying my wife’s screenings due someone’s incompetence. I’m absolutely pissed and disgusted this keeps happening and they aren’t even answering the phones at their offices when you need them the most. Victor, we’re forever grateful of being my wife’s doctor, but your staff is gonna destroy your reputation and practice if they keep being driving your business like this. Be aware we’re not the only ones upset about the issues, also the ones we’ve recommended trough many years to work with you, have similar claims and have already migrated to other providers. This is also not the first time my wife has been vocal about the negligence with appointments or screenings requests in the past. Enough is enough.
